    Ppl who feel bad about masculine facial gender, this doesnt mean u are manly or unattractive. Infact, these are the features most modelling agencies look for. Why u ask? Because they are unique and stand out.

      @minervarose7664 Před 11 měsíci +5

      Agreed. Am not against plastic surgery in general but they were already perfect looking to start off with 🙄 the surgery just made them look "unique" which i suppose is a thing now??! Or not - cos all the celebrities are morphing into the same person!! But overall not in a flattering way

    • @stylemejenn
      @stylemejenn  Před 11 měsíci +23

      I think when you’re surrounded by people (like Hollywood) where everyone is so comfortable with changing their appearances through plastic surgery, you could easily get swayed into reconsidering your current look! It’s unfortunate 😔

    • @Ladynipchick2
      @Ladynipchick2 Před 9 měsíci

      Did they do surgery or just fillers? If fillers, they should slowly be absorbed by the body and return to how they were before.

    i think another important feature is the hairline. whenever my hair is covering it, i appear a lot more feminine but once i tie my hair it shows how squareish my hairline and it reallyyyy masculinizes my appearance

    • @stylemejenn
      @stylemejenn  Před 11 měsíci +7

      Agreed! A square hairline has a tendency to add masculinity to the face as well :)

  • @crocolagerfelden6142

    I think in Zoe's case her new extremely pointed chin also clashes with the overall more blunt angles of her face. It looks like it's from a different person. I think Kibbe's types are also useful in analysing "enhanced" facial features through cosmetic procedures and plastic surgery as it is this clash that oftentimes makes someone with altered features look off.

    This explains how a natural female bodybuilder lifting heavy weight consistently can STILL remain feminine-looking and objectively beautiful/sexy. If she has symmetrical feminine facial features, she'll never look masculine or brutish... she doesn't look like a tomboy. She can wear her hair in a bun and still look like a bombshell!

      I know this might come across as superficial, but one of the most empowering things I’ve learned in all of my 43 years of life thus far, is the enormous asset that a woman obtains when she's acquired the skills to help her present herself in the best ways that she can. When a woman walks out the door knowing that she looks her best, I don't care her size, how much natural or unnatural beauty she has - that woman will naturally project a powerhouse of self confidence that radiates from the inside out - which not only compliments her beauty - but it can quite literally make her a game changer in the world.
      This is why I have so much love and appreciation for the way Jenn encourages us to emphasize some of what we might see as "flaws" because - in reality, it's those "flaws" that make us uniquely beautiful in our own ways.
      Take Meryl Streep for instance. Did you know that when she was a young, up and coming actress, she was actually told that the prominence of her nose would hinder the success of her acting career?? She considered getting a nose job, but ultimately decided to go against the advice and to just 'see what happens'.
      Along with her remarkable acting capabilities, it's her nose that is one of the features most people find the most beautiful about her. Yes, it's a bit bigger than average, but it's uniquely hers and it makes her, her.
      So many young women of today are getting all sorts of plastic surgeries, in the hopes of altering whatever they perceive as "flaws" - in the hopes of becoming another standard replica cookie cutter Kardashian.
      I believe so much in the perfection of imperfection - nobody else in this entire world can be another exact you. And that makes you remarkably beautiful.

    Jenn, I've watched every video on your channel now - I've watched some of your vides twice, some of them even three times. As I write this comment, it looks like the amount of subscribers that your channel has is just over 13k. What this tells me is that you haven't quite been discovered by CZcams's beauty community just yet. Believe me when I say, that at 43 years old, I have consumed an enormous amount of makeup tutorials, various beauty techniques, and all the beauty trends that have come and gone over the past 15 years.
    What I can tell you as a certain fact is that the level of game-changing knowledge and information that you so generously provide has far exceeded all of the channels I've been watching and supporting - and I'm talking COMBINED. What sets your channel apart from the rest is in the remarkable abundance of exceptionally useful knowledge that you share in each and every video that you put out. I've seen CZcamsrs, influencers beauty experts, etc... absolutely blow up out of now where, quite literally over night.
    You have everything and more than some of the most successful CZcamsrs in history have - not only are you fun to watch, but you're eloquent, easy to follow and understand - and the knowledge that you provide is remarkably invaluable. So basically what I'm trying to say to you, is this... I hope that you are prepared for the massive success you are about to embark on. It's only a matter of time - and believe me, when it hits - it is going to HIT.

    My peers and subordinates are typically males in their 50s and 60s, and while am not "young" there is tendency for some of them to look at me as if am a little girl 🙄 at least their first impression! • @stylemejenn
      @stylemejenn  Před 11 měsíci +2

      I wouldn't think so! Layers can reduce the hair volume around your facial outline so it brings down the contrast level between your hair and skin, which makes the jawline appear less prominent :) Buttt I should add that depending on the length of your hair the hairstyle itself may bring more emphasis to your facial features themselves, so if your features have a masculine feel overall, then the image would be highlighted more too!

  • @MadelineWalshArt

    I’m female and I have a strong jawline and prominent cheekbones with slim hollow cheeks and my face sits on the longer side,
    . with my nose being a bit long with a slight hump but a slightly upturned rounded tip. With my lips not being too thin, not overly large either, in between. I also have deep set eyes and low eyebrows that are slightly arched, not thin , nor bushy but in the middle. My eyes are in between round and almond shape, and a very pale blue. I find most people are drawn to my eyes when they see me because I get a lot of compliments on my eyes. I get insecure about my jawline because I find it too masculine. So I keep my hair long so that it frames my face and covers my jaw a bit, my hair is light brown and naturally wavy so I don’t need to do much to style it. My skin is quite fair, I don’t get tanned. I’m short, 5’2” but my features are all elongated and narrow and I appear taller than I actually am. I like to dress nicely and wear modest feminine clothing. Sometimes I wish I had softer more delicate facial features. But then I realize that some people want prominent cheekbones and a strong jawline like me. God has made everyone so uniquely and beautifully . It’s interesting to learn about different physical features that are unique to each individual. I’m an artist and I paint and draw all sorts of things, and I have really enjoyed painting and drawing portraits lately.

    I’m a flamboyant gamine in Kibbe so I definitely have a mixture of feminine and masculine traits but I prefer mostly masculine traits. Even before they were a trend I always liked how villains in tv and movies looked and they tend to have more Yang features even if they’re women. Btw I wonder if emphasizing my more Yang traits will make me look older? I think you’ll remember me I’ve commented on other videos of yours before lol I’m the person who doesn’t like looking baby faced 😅
    Btw I have a short lower third which I think contributes to me looking younger if I remember what you said about Gigi Hadid in your last video. I’m gonna try experimenting with makeup tonight trying to increase my lower third length and also making my brows higher. I remember that also from this video where you talked about Ariana Grande and how her higher brows made her look a bit more older and mature

    • @stylemejenn
      @stylemejenn  Před 11 měsíci +4

      A short lower third does contribute to a more youthful image! On the other hand a longer middle third makes you more mature, which was why I mentioned Ariana’s brows being raised as a factor that could age her slightly, but with Ariana she has SUCH a youthful looking face that the impact isn’t big! I think it really depends on how young your face looks ☺️

    i have a big head compared to what most women have which makes my forehead bigger and jawline wider, but this video helped me learn i still have more feminine features! my jawline is soft, i have prominent soft cheekbones, and more rounded features overall.

    I definitely have a "masculine" facial gender based on this guide but I wouldn't consider my face by itself all that masculine. The thing making me look feminine/neutral despite my angular blunt jaw, large nose, heavy brows and prominent browbone is my eyes and lips. I have very round, large eyes with long eyelashes and thin sharp pink lips that help balance out my face more in an androgynous direction. I also have light colored hair and low facial contrast that gives me more softness to my look. Im pretty sure im a kibbe DC and a Kitchener Dramatic Gamine Natural for reference.

    I have very prominant brow bones and deep set eyes but i have a large space between my eyes and eyebrows so its not always that brows are low woth prominent bones. My brows are not thick and bushy, they are wide when not styled how i wear them but theyre fine in texture and quite sparse.
    I also have very prominent cheek bones too. But as you say we all have a balance. I have full cheeks and full lips.

      @stylemejenn  Před 10 měsíci +3

      Heyy a couple of tips: as I've mentioned in the video you could use a lighter color on the brows themselves to make the eyelid area appear more open - if you have really dark brows I find Kiss Me Heavy Rotation Coloring Eyebrow works quite well. Another tip that someone else actually shared in one of the comments was to draw the brows along the top where the brow bones catch the light, so the brows don't appear as protruded. I haven't tried this trick myself but I thought it was a useful tip if you have low set brows due to your eyes being deeper-set. Hope it helps!! ❤

      If you’re ok with it then fine but have you considered maybe it’s the hair colors and make up trends that also contribute or maybe accentuate those traits?
      I notice women now have learned to do their make up almost like drag queens which is cool sometimes if you are aging or maybe want to learn how to “fix” certain things but it seems everyone is doing very trend . So if everyone does it not everyone will look at it

Specific to this video though there are some overlapping theories I talk about with their video about facial gender, but I didn’t think that I was plagiarizing the content in any way?? These theories are not “developed” by the channel - these are well-known theories especially in the Asian beauty industry 🙂

      It’s difficult to say without seeing the face! But a strong jawline and a short distance from eyes to eyebrows are both more masculine / Yang traits!

  • @Ladynipchick2
    @Ladynipchick2 Před 9 měsíci

    I had to giggle when you said longer noses could come over as masculine - because my minds eye went straight to Sophia Loren, Audrey Hepburn etc. You couldn't find 2 more feminine women than they were. 😂

    • @stylemejenn
      @stylemejenn  Před 9 měsíci +3

      It's not actually the length alone that adds masculinity - it's the overall prominence and especially the prominence / width of your nose bridge :) I also think that Sophia Loren and Audrey Hepburn both have a good mix of masculine AND feminine features within their faces, so they don't lean too heavily on the feminine side!
