      Men with feminine facial features are really attractive in my eyes personally, I'm sure many others think the same. All features are beautiful either masculine or feminine. Just remember beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and it's mostly important for you to see the beauty of your face because your thought is what matters most :) there will always be people who like or don't like our appearance, so just embrace it, good luck!

      Hi, I am the same and was very self-conscious when I was younger. My facial features did change as I got older (longer/leaner face and more prominent nose) but I found a few body features to emphasise (long neck and broad shoulders.
      Style made a big difference - wearing hairstyle with more volume height instead of bangs and glasses/sunglasses made structure for my face.
      Layering with clothing helps my body look bigger but too much baggy/oversized makes me look like a kid. If you find shirts/jackets with shoulder seam falling perfectly on your shoulder it helps give them more defined look. Basically any clothing with defined shapes or straight lines helps a lot, whatever your style is.

    I hope that all the dears who lean more towards masculine features don't feel bad. In fact, the current beauty and fashion standards prefer masculine features. Also, as the video showed, we can use makeup and styling to subtly "alter" our most prominent feminine or masculine features according to the situation. For example, you probably wouldn't have the same style when you go for a job interview and when you go on a date. Yes, obviously one style may look better than the other, but sometimes we have to minimise our visuals because the circumstances call for it.

Not too long ago, I started wearing more dresses, skirts and cute tops and I started getting so many compliments! I feel way more comfortable in feminine clothing, I was just always too intimidated to wear it. I thought I didn't deserve to wear feminine clothing because I wasn't beautiful enough. I am slavic but I live in the West and it can sometimes be hard to find shops that sell clothing for my body and face type. Most clothes here have a very masculine look and I just look stupid in them, almost like a child in my dad's clothes. People also always tell me that I look "cute" or they think I am underage even though I am 21 lol. It can be a bit of a struggle when none of the famous celebrities or models look like you and it's hard to find fashion inspo, but I'm still trying and not giving up!

  • @sprigganpanda
    @sprigganpanda Před rokem +43

    I have high visual masculine features but I've always been told I'm highly feminine. I think it's mostly due to my big eyes and my body balancing out my stronger bone structure. I also have a longer mid face but my eye bags break that up lol, if I use concealer you can see that it's longer but if i leave it then it breaks up the mid face and it looks shorter. But I think my more masculine features make it hard to pull off the cute look yet make it easier to pull off the sexy look. Unfortunately I love the cute aesthetic more which I find harder to make work but I find putting the makeup focus on my eyes and looser clothing helps. But for sexy just put on something form fitting and some red lipstick and I'm ready to go lol! Sexy and mature is 100% more complimentary to my features but while I like to play into that sometimes I really do prefer the cute look. So while it's more work to get it to work I'll keep leaning into the cute style, I haven't had any megative reactions yet so I think I've been doing at least a decent job.

    I now realize that I have a feminine facial gender, and one of my insecurity is having a short chin. I didn't realize that I use the counerbalance method when I'm applying makeup. For having a short face and thick lips, I sharpen the side of my lips to make it look lifted. This creates a balance at my chin area

    This FINALLY helped me understand visual weight - mine is low, but my fave type is masculine!!! It was so easy for me to tell that my face leans masculine... I definitely have more angular features, with a very strong nose and chin, but not in a way that I would call "beautiful" or "attractive". The only thing people are ever "drawn" to seems to be my big nose. But also, despite all that, I'm constantly told that I look super young. I'm almost 30 but get confused for a high schooler! It's such a confusing situation to be in. I thought that maybe my visual weight was high from the nose down, and low from the eyes up. But when you showed the photos of high/low weight and masculine/feminine features, it all IMMEDIATELY made sense! Those girls look like me!!!

    Great content but I wish the examples are more diverse, like including different race and average/common looking people, so that it's easy to imagine or atleast close to the viewers' facial features.It's quite hard to catch up with these examples since most of them are East Asian celebrities 😅

    I think the counterbalance method can also be used on people with low visual weight. Take Kristen Dunst as an example. She has a gentle feminine vibe while having masculine traits with low visual weight. In combination with her facial features, this style creates her inner dynamics and energy. There is something mysterious inside the cute image. Some people, for example, compared her to a cunning fox. Therefore, I would suggest that the counterbalance method is suitable for people who want to create a striking image, and the maximization method is suitable for people who want to look harmonious.

    I have a masculine face shape with lower visual weight. I’ve learned that I can’t work turtle necks and scarves or anything that focuses around my neckline due to this. Plus I have to counter the visual weight with a high cranial top. I’ve received comments that I give off a cool/elegant vibe due to these features. I do like my overall features, and it can be balanced with makeup.

    I have feminine features but I wanted to style myself androgynous for a change because I would want to wear masculine outfits and emit an enigmatic aura, but it would only seem like I'm just a psychotic villain from an anime or a cartoon so I would want to look cool and boyish instead.
    But anyway, this video has helped me a lot in determining which style I should try, I'm leaning more towards a feminine style (since it complements my facial featurws too) but I also wany to experiment other styles as a way to express myself differently. I've been watching plenty videos from your channel and it has proven helpful so thank you :>>
