My take away: Common denominator between your knives, playing cards, writing instruments....and the Gold Coins you show...? Quality, Craftsmanship and a harmonious balance between form and function.
I must say, a particularly engaging video. I immensely enjoyed the hilarity of the totally random question you addressed fighting a horse size rooster or rooster size horses. That was totally fun, in addition to your other as you call it working art pieces functional art. Also not partial to slabs either. You can never please everyone to be sure, but your pens knives cards etc are totally and enjoyable part of your video please keep it up.
I had to wait 14 minutes to get to the cards, knives, pens. Once you explained they are for reference, it makes total sense and shows the thought you put into your videos. Thank you for the content.
Shame CZcams doesn't like this content from you, because I certainly do. It was your last Q&A video that got me to subscribe in the first place. Great stuff, as always.
Thank you! I think what happens is that they base their recommendations on the watch time percentage. Longer videos have lower percentage. Have a good weekend!

Thinking seriously about starting to buy gold. As a little hedge against whatever and because I can think of a score of things that would be worse to spend my money on (I've dropped at least a half a hundred on ridiculous crap in my half century) I found your channel and subscribed for the informative and entertaining content.

The field notes, dice, cards, pocket knives, add an artistic style to the videos. Its basically like your brand for your channel. Then in this video you actually provide out all the uses which is like this is a deck of cards and it shows you the scale of how big the coin is. This knife is to open the capsules etc. I know you own pokemon cards I dare you to put a pokemon card randomly in the background in one of your next videos. Weirdly enough it really adds to your videos but its very lowkey. Makes the videos more interesting.

I watched all the way through the end and I gotta admit I actually laughed out loud at the giant rooster being terrifying haha I do have a question for a future video if it is selected. “How many people outside of your immediate family (wife and children) know about you owning gold, or at least are into gold? Stacking can be very lonely in person because you can’t really talk about it without opening yourself up to potential theft and robbery. Low premiums are very important. I buy the occasional collector coin, but it's literally just for fun. I stack fractional gold that's close to spot price and silver that goes on sale. The daily b.s. that says silver's going to $1000 or whatever is starting to bother me.
Good video 2 is 1. My only comment regarding slabbed gold is this…slabbed gold only makes sense if you plan to hold it long term and it is not part of your liquidation bullion. If you hold anything long enough, it will become valuable. Whether or not someone will be alive long enough to to capture the gains is a different matter!
You’re saying the slabbed coins appreciate long term? I can see how it would make it easier for a person receiving them through inheritance or similar gifting.

In the past you've talked about how you prefer purchasing gold coins. In your opinion, when would it be appropriate to buy gold bars or gold rounds (not mint)?
Is do you use any type of computer programs to keep track of your inventory? Specifically mints, weight sizes, years? How would you know if you had a certain coin out of hundreds?
I have it inventoried a few ways. Spreadsheet (Google Sheets) is the most current. A few years ago, I could barely guess at the years of mintage on my coins off the top of my head. Now that I have them out for videos all the time, I'm getting pretty familiar with anything not vaulted. 😅

I love the look of your Shirogorov! Happy stacking from the most lock-downed city in the world, Melbourne, Australia 🇦🇺 🦘!
2 is 1, a question. You've made it clear that you love the beauty of gold. It's fun. And, you're acquiring gold and other assets for the future, probably your children's future. Gold may be a start over asset for you, but you're not prepping for the apocalypse. You seem to be a middle of the road-er. Lots of people own no gold. Lots of folks who are acquiring gold are prepping. Is there anything that could develop that who push you to either edge of the continuum? To sell other assets to buy more gold, or sell your gold stash and put it somewhere elsewhere?
That’s a good question. I’m not stuck on any specific idea, so if there was a clear reason to change I would. If I thought gold was going to increase or decrease in value significantly (50% drop or 100% gain), I would reconsider my position. I don’t see that happening at the moment. A very specific land deal might get me to sell some gold. Other than that, it would take an emergency need. This is a good topic for a full video. Thanks!
Hi 21. Really enjoying your videos lately. However, I don’t think I’ve seen you discuss sales tax yet (and how it factors in - or not). Curious to know if you are paying it and regardless, what your comments on it would be for your subscribers. Do we just follow our personal plan and pay it if we have to ? Thanks !
I've never been directly affected by sales tax. In the states that have minimums, I've always bought above that level, and my home base doesn't have sales tax. I'd have trouble in a state like Minnesota (with all surrounding states not charging sales tax on bullion). Cheers!
@@2is1gold Thanks. Many states to charge sales tax. Would love for you to weigh in on that topic on how that would affect your purchasing plans if you were impacted.
Great video as always. Love your content, and i for 1 am very happy about the non click bait titles. I get why people do it, but words like scam get used way too often incorrectly in titles. It turns me off of their content a little. And you can see when someone becomes aware of a word that works for views. Because they might make a legitimate video about a scam, it does really well and then they shortly make like 4 other videos with that word in the title that arent really scams. Keep being you :)
If it was a collectible coin, I can see it (for others). Mine was a First Release MS70 Phoenix & Dragon. Some people informed me it was unsubscribe worthy! 😂
So i guess my question would be, for me ASE's and Gold Eagles are really all i am interested in (for liquidity reasons strictly) and i am not a collector as it's all about the insurance policy for me...having said that if you had to pick ONE (only one) other Gold coin to have as a backup plan or even just for some "diversity" what would that Gold coin be? Personally i am looking at either the Maple Leaf and/or the Brittania and only those 2 choices but i am curious as to which you would choose and why?
It's close, but I'd pick the Canadian Maple Leaf for liquidity. The 2021 Britannia has made that a tough choice, though, and it's the same diameter as the Eagle (so it would fit in the same capsules). Hard to go wrong with either choice. Cheers!
@@2is1gold it inspires me. I just got started and i'm a teenager, seeing this much money just astonishes me and makes me wonder how I can achieve that myself
I haven't. I've never been real into the pre-33 coins. Mostly, I don't like the subjective pricing and hate buying something that the seller knows more about than I do. Cheers!
I would really like to add a maple leaf and buffalo to my gold stack.. I’m from the uk tho, do you think i will have trouble in the future selling them in the uk ? , I want them because I really like them and don’t plan on selling them till im old unless I have any kids to pass my precious metals down to!
Awesome video, content, and production. Would love to hear more about "legacy" items and how you plan to distribute your cool things to your kids, friends, or family.
@@2is1gold Thank you for replying. I should have clarified that I was only asking not to be nosy, but because I too have some modestly expensive Benchmark knives, revolvers, precious metals money clip, etc., which I wonder how to pass them along at some point. I have two daughters and one son...
I assumed you were considering it yourself. It has come up a few times in the comments. My vault access, accounts, etc are documented and attached to a living will and trust. Some of it is just scattered around the houses, though. 😄

I love these videos. I too like knives, pens and cards. Working on my gold stash moving away from silver. Fell into the hype. Only got 10th oz right now. Like the advice on month 10th vs bimonthly 1/4 purchases. I always been curious what type of work do you do? Think you might have vaguely brought it up before but I forget. Probably would divulge much but...
Lmao!!! 100 rooster sized horses? 😂🤣 Totally agree with you about the Libertad’s. That being said, I did have to buy one. Just a gold 1/2 oz. 2020 though. Totally agree about the AGE’s. Nothing wrong with the 22 karat stuff and the liquidity is awesome. One question though. When will you do a video with a gun in the background? I know you have some. Any gun will do, ever a revolver! 😂🤣 Seriously though, just one video with a gun. Come on over to the Pistol Packing Pilot side of things for just one video. Lol.
Ha! I'm on a computer or in the gym or ring so much of the waking day that I just got out of the habit of wearing watches or even a ring. Someday I'll revive the habit. 😄
Like you, working on a tube of Buffalos any thoughts about Finning, I think it is both sad and outrageous considering the amount of money we spend on US Mint coins. Half of my Buffalos are in this condition. Other mints seemed to have no problem why do we?
Do you have a Queen’s Beast Dragon? If not would you consider acquiring that coin? $2500+-. per 1oz today., ** great frame BTW. How about adding a 9mm or .45ACP pistol. More shiny things! 🙏✌️🇺🇸
Really enjoyed the content in this one. I am new to stacking and like watching your videos. I am heading to a coin dealer I never been to tomorrow and look forward to picking up another Buffalo or Eagle. You seem to have a good feel for the youtube community If you don't mind me asking what size premiums are you hearing about for 1oz and 1/2 oz Eagles in Florida ? I only been to one other coin dealer here and they pushed 9% on the 1 oz Eagles.
@@2is1gold I will probably get a few gold eagles this week it looks good Right about now and I use the lower spot price to help me out with the eagle premium... LoL thanks brother for all you do for the community
If you bought a slab it dosent make sense to break it out. If you do you alienate some buyers in the event you need cash. Cash is not king in today's society. The virus changed the way the dollar is devalued. All the government giveaways is problematic. I had to much silver so I sold a complete set of graded Morgan's. It was to bulky. Exchange it for gold. I agree with the backup plan.
I run across lots of Eagles that have been slabbed but don’t increase in value whatsoever form that grading or slab. I see those as a deal and wouldn’t feel at all funny breaking them out. If it was a collector coin where additional premium is spent based on the grading, I’d at least feel funny. 😄

I love this format! I’m a big knife guy as well. Ive got a pair of Pohan Leu Hamchi’s, a ZT 0055 and a few other sentimental knives including one a buddy made for me as a custom. I love the look of your Shirogorov! Happy stacking from the most lock-downed city in the world, Melbourne, Australia 🇦🇺 🦘!
Thanks and good luck!
A World War II gun beside the knife would also look great.
👍
As always great content. The question and answer is always informative.
Thanks for watching!
Thank you - I appreciate it!
I would not bust out a NGC or PCGS 70 but it's your slab so I have no problem with someone else doing it.
If it was a collectible coin, I can see it (for others). Mine was a First Release MS70 Phoenix & Dragon. Some people informed me it was unsubscribe worthy! 😂
@@2is1gold First Release is a gimmick
Cheers!
What career do you have that enables you to buy full ounces of gold? You make it seem like slight work
It’s not slight work. I’m just to a point where certain revenue can go straight to gold. Cheers!
@@2is1gold it inspires me. I just got started and i'm a teenager, seeing this much money just astonishes me and makes me wonder how I can achieve that myself
@@ericcharlston272multiple revenue streams is probably a factor
Thank you.
🤜🤛
Nothing goes better with gold than a high end knife!
Agreed! 😄
Have you talked about pre-33 gold coins like double eagles or St Gaudens?
I haven't. I've never been real into the pre-33 coins. Mostly, I don't like the subjective pricing and hate buying something that the seller knows more about than I do. Cheers!
Great videos and i dig your stack, what card holder is that?
Sorry I missed this! The card holders can be found on Amazon. amzn.to/3diHdMw Cheers!
I would really like to add a maple leaf and buffalo to my gold stack.. I’m from the uk tho, do you think i will have trouble in the future selling them in the uk ? , I want them because I really like them and don’t plan on selling them till im old unless I have any kids to pass my precious metals down to!
I think you'd be able to sell both pretty easily. Cheers!
Awesome video, content, and production. Would love to hear more about "legacy" items and how you plan to distribute your cool things to your kids, friends, or family.
That’s an interesting topic. I sealed a watch I bought at a specific win in life to give to my son. At present, he couldn’t care less about it. 😄
Nice to see a kilo coin stack....!!
Im in love with my gold. Sometimes I feel like Gollum.
Today I had to remind myself NOT to become a criminal to get my next gold "fix"
Ha! Hopefully that inner voice doesn't get too loud! 😅
What’s the best gold coin for longevity if you’re just starting out with gold?
Roman Aureus. Not cheap, but coming up on two millennia does satisfy your longevity requirement. (I keed, I keed.)
I'd say the Gold Buffalo or the Canadian Maple Leaf.
Concur, gold Buffalo! Especially if you live in the USA!
Thanks Matty! I still have a wall up between my work and YT. Cheers!
Very good video! It is great idea to start Club!
Thanks!
Good news only for "Club members"! Gold price expected to drop during next 4-6 weeks period. It will be a good time to purchase gold.
Lol.
I get grief about the pocket knives! 😅
@@2is1gold Who cares. Screw them. Lol.
One of my favorite channels!!!
Thanks!!
Call me crazy 2is1, but if you had a really good looking watch to go with the Chris Reeves and the gold, forget about it, lol!
Ha! I'm on a computer or in the gym or ring so much of the waking day that I just got out of the habit of wearing watches or even a ring. Someday I'll revive the habit. 😄
What about germanium mint coins ??
Some look very cool
They definitely look cool. I don't have any, though.
Excellent content. I collect knives and its always interesting to hear why others do as well.
That's great. I wish I had a better reason than, "I just really like them". 😄
Love your Pens and Knives. Do you have any different incarnations like Fountain Pens or Hunting Knives. Great Vid. as usual.
I have a Visconti fountain pen and knives, well.... I have about every genre there is. Cheers!
Yeah here come the rooster, yeah
You know he ain’t gonna die 🐓
Horse size 😂
🤘😅
Good stuff
Thanks!
When should I buy my new buffalo?
Tough call, but spot price looks good this weekend.
Like you, working on a tube of Buffalos any thoughts about Finning, I think it is both sad and outrageous considering the amount of money we spend on US Mint coins. Half of my Buffalos are in this condition. Other mints seemed to have no problem why do we?
Yeah, it’s frustrating. I’d say a third of mine have the problem.
Do you have a Queen’s Beast Dragon? If not would you consider acquiring that coin? $2500+-. per 1oz today.,
** great frame BTW. How about adding a 9mm or .45ACP pistol. More shiny things! 🙏✌️🇺🇸
I don’t think I’d pay the extra premium for that coin unless I had the rest of the series and really wanted to finish it. It’s cool, though.
whick is better gold or sliver
Gold in my opinion.
Great display
Thanks!
I'm sure it's been asked, but what are the make of those knives?
Really enjoyed the content in this one. I am new to stacking and like watching your videos. I am heading to a coin dealer I never been to tomorrow and look forward to picking up another Buffalo or Eagle. You seem to have a good feel for the youtube community If you don't mind me asking what size premiums
are you hearing about for 1oz and 1/2 oz Eagles in Florida ? I only been to one other coin dealer here and they pushed 9% on the 1 oz Eagles.
Yeah, 9% is the common number lately.
Liked! love your videos
Thanks!
Sir great video and should I be buying more gold bullion in this market place?...
I'm still buying!
@@2is1gold I will probably get a few gold eagles this week it looks good Right about now and I use the lower spot price to help me out with the eagle premium... LoL thanks brother for all you do for the community
Where do I go to get timely alerts for prices points that I set?
For gold spot price?
@@2is1gold Yes
Do you have a design or art background?
The rooster would take a .308 to the brain bucket and then I would enjoy some damn big chicken wings. Problem would be grill size.
Ha!
I'm one of those people who think $400. pens and pocketknives are loco. But then I realized I have several guns in my safe that I have paid $1K+ for that I have never fired. I have a $40. knife I wear all the time. I guess I'm the loco one. I'm on a trip, when I get home I think I'm going to sell a couple of those firearms.
No question it’s loco. $300 is loco too. I’ve never sold a gun. At some point that’s a problem. Good luck with your sales!
@@2is1gold Interested in a Barrett .50 with a Nightforce scope, 4 mags and 300 rnds of APIT?
I, too, have spent $40 on worse things than gold.
I have a question. Did you actually pay over $3k for that new high relief liberty coin? Because.. damn. Why?
Close enough. It was $2,715. 😬
Cheers

I LOVE the background items in the videos.
Thanks!
Fight an ostrich.
Buy an 1804 silver dollar and bust it out of it's slab on a video. 🐥😂

I have an Ultratech and a Troodon. No Halo 2. 🤘
