My portfolio for the past 30 years has always been self managed and I own 3 shares of Berkshire Hathaway Class A stock (BRK:A) which I bought in at about $17,000 during the mid 90s, I’m currently liquidating some of these positions to incoporate new Gen. Stocks, but am I better off re-investing into Gold as it seems stocks are a little too unstable right now.

New to the channel. How can I leverage my gold. To purchase more assets. I have 10k in gold.

The British government is phasing out 2 pence copper coin and 1 pence coin , King Charles has brought in 2023 two new copper coins and will be phased very soon. So if you my proof versions of these they could increase in value.

The lunar series from perth appreciates at a higher rate. Look at the prices online of older coins. The same does not happen to liberty,maple,buffalo,philharmonic, etc common coins.

@2 is 1 I have stopped buying physical silver and gold and just buying ETFs associated with the physical of both. Do you remember the premiums on both metals during the Covid collapse? With SLV, I don't have to go looking for a buyer. It's just more convenient to do an ETF. I would like to hear your opinion. Thanks

Gold and Silver will never make anyone "rich" but what they WILL do is keep the walls of your financial fortress strong and buttressed. Within those walls you have a several of ways to build the wealth to become "rich" for instance real estate, stocks, bonds, options etc. etc. etc. (productive assets). However the Gold and Silver will provide an outlet for "fixing" a mistake or harnessing the power of a hard asset in the face of ever present inflation. That is all, nothing else. Gold and Silver do work in the face of inflation and/or the debasement (black swan, government intervention etc.) of the fiat in your pocket. A very easy example is imagine you owned 1000 ounces of Silver or 10 ounces of Gold on Jan 1, 2000 and you suddenly needed it today...those financial walls are obvious while if you had that same financial fortress in equivalent fiat then you lost quite a bit unless you added to the fiat over time to keep an equivalent amount to the Dollars "value on Jan 1, 2000.

Forecasts are silly, especially long term ones that look far out into the future. We barely know what’s going to happen next week and analysts are trying to guess what’s going to happen to gold in the next 12 months? Foolish. Expand the time horizon far enough and eventually everyone will be right about everything. 😑 How you buy something is most times more important than what you buy. Buy the right assets at the right price. Understand the asset and understand your thesis for buying. Also, understand what your time horizon is and hold on. 👍

The silver is worth a whole lot more than what that Gold's worth though because of the premium attached to each coin just $3 over spot on each coin if they were generic is around 250 bucks but some of them coins have way more than $3 premium on them

Just imagine buying gold at the double eagle price of... $20. None of us were around then but our grand parents and great grand parents probably were. Wouldn't that make for a nice family legacy? I never worry about when I started stacking. I was too busy buying Netflix at $55 a share and Costco at $19 a share. Plus a few others. There's a lot of ways to succeed financially. Stocks are the way that I chose but I have friends who made their bundle in real estate and that's great. I never complain about how someone else succeeds, as long as what they are doing is both legal and ethical. Those who operate without ethics / outside the law usually get what they deserve and that can be pretty nasty. No problem, they've earned it! lol

Nickel mining....no thanks. Too risky. Electrification has been proven to be a losing business.
