I LOVE how you grind coffee at camp. I need to find a manual grinder. Our favorite way to make coffee at camp is with our double walled stainless steel French Press.

Hello I had questions about the cooler and how you store. What ice packs you use do you put things in bins? Thank you 🖤
One meal I always take with me is instant basmati rice , coconut milk or whole milk powder and curry powder. Add radians and almonds or cashews or tofu. So good!!!! I also love mac and cheese and red beans and rice. I find the only meat I eat on trail is jerky really. I'm not too familiar on how to travel much with protein.

How do you do your dishes when camping? :) it’s always a source of stress and I really don’t like bringing disposable stuff
This is what we use for washing dishes when we camp www.coleman.com/all-camp-kitchen/camp-kitchen-accessories/cpx-6-all-in-one-portable-sink/col_2000016453_pr/COL_2000016453. This sink requires batteries for the sprayer and has a drying rack for dishes. Everything you need fits inside the bucket including a small bottle of dish soap.
Tried those cheese cracker things and we'll it's going to take some getting used to lol

we had to cancel our hiking trip through Colombia in May 😞 we rebooked it for a much later date but until then i’ll get my fix watching your hikes. ps that bagel seasoning...i put that ish on everything. also, i was thinking if you want a warm, comforting take on the tuna salad, to top some bread with it, sprinkle with cheese and heat it up 👌

It is Utah! I was in the Red Cliffs Conservation area. There are lots of short beautiful hikes there!
Hey amandaoutside, like your channel and your videos - i wonder if aporredillo holds any promise as a backpacking food?
I'm not sure! I've never tried to make it. I think it might work for car camping, but for backpacking it might be a challenge.
You definitely eat very healthy on the trail. The billy pot at the beginning of the video is nice. What is the make of the billy pot? Take Care and Keep Exploring The Outdoors.
It's a Snow Peak Kettle! We use it all the time when we go camping!
Do you have tips for making washing dishes easy, especially in the back country? Aren’t there rules about not using soap?

In one of her hack videos she mentions that she fills gallon water jugs and freezes those that way nothing gets wet, they melt slower and if you need drinking water they can work for that too!

Why would you feel sorry for anyone’s partner? Both she and Nick are carrying backpacks with gear. They also have coolers in the car as she specified they are car camping, not backpacking. Also, in previous videos she’s mentioned that she and Nick split the gear. Perry, let’s try to approach things from a place of kidneys in the future :)
