You could def use the center stand. Frankly the BMW is a little heavy for me to get on the center stand and the oil drains fine by being on the side stand so it works for me :)
@@melissasmotorcycleadventures First, thank you for the video, but just be careful when filling oil on the side stand as the difference in oil level is dramatically different than when it's on the center stand. The reading when its on the side stand is at the min level, yet on the center stand reads at the max level. If you fill to the max line when on side stand it will be extremely overfilled.
@@HeathDamienHuffman thank you for the suggestion. I actually under filled it and then double checked it on the center stand...just decided to cut that out of the video haha. Thanks for following my adventures :)
I own a GS1250 ( 550 pounds) and to help raise it on the center stand I roll the bike backwards on a piece of plywood approximately 1 1/4 inch thick and then activate the centerstand…bingo! Marc, Quebec, Canada 🇨🇦
Changing oil in a white shirt - impressed !
Haha I like to live on the wild side
Simple and accurate , thanks!
You're welcome!
I think you and Dana should do a double act and make us smile. Two very naughty ladies

Just discovered your channel. I look forward to following your journey. Ride safe and shiny side up.
Welcome to the adventure!!! Thanks for subscribing 😘
Be careful running your bike with the garage door closed. You could be hot boxing some dangerous fumes
Thanks for the comment. Garage door was def not closed while the bike was running :) video editing can be deceiving though 🤣
Why are biker gals always the prettiest on CZcams?
Thanks for watching!
I really like the tin foil hack. Great cheap way to keep your bike clean.
Agreed! Thanks for watching!! :)

Why side stand and not centre stand?
