  • In this video I review my first FIST action figure by Invincible Toys. Does this figure hold up compared to other military lines like Hasbro’s GI Joe? Well let’s find out.

I think the issue with the shoulders is that they aren't seeded into the body enough and they really aren't sculpted, they are just balls.

These look like bootlegs to me. Joints look odd. And gaps in the thighs and shoulders. Plus the paint apps are just bad. Great review it’s a pass for me.

I’ll admit , I passed on this initial wave of Fist. I see a ton of growth potential and ambition in the line, but there wasn’t a lot of visual assurances that I needed to gamble on a new line. I couldn’t put my finger on it, but there was just something about the shoulder system that felt unintended. And I’m with you on the weapons. Money was saved in these guns , sure. But the gun metal dry rush only served to draw attention to that corner they cut. I know they wanted war damage , but the base colouring isn’t present enough to realize that. In the end , 1 color with poor application is a lesson in itself. I hope they prioritize that fix for a second wave.
Great review Punk, I like seeing what was there! They definitely have a workable premise. Orcs vs humans always hits. And with tweeks for follow on waves ,I d like to think this line has a lot of potential to impress fans of Warhammer, Warhammer 40k, Shadow run, Dungeons and Dragons or even the movie “ Blight”.

A guy from their factory was at JoeFest. Before I opened one. I asked what they learned through this process. This is the factory’s first action figure line.
He said they made paint improvements after the initial production and the joints have had some upgrades.

They make figures in those other countries not because they have it "dialed" it's because they have horrible labor laws and America takes advantage of that.

@@Apunkwithtoys agreed. The first mad dog that I walked away with the knee exploded on me and I needed a replacement. Even the replacement had QC issues. There's always growing pains with new factories.

I bought this same Trooper at JoeFest. Molded butterfly joints that don't function!? Floppy loose R leg, odd shoulders, etc etc. They have a interesting creative concept and look, but this figures design/engineering has to be revisited. I was waiting to pass judgement until I saw a figure in a review. That being said, this figure looks like bootlegged junk. The paint looks horrible, the joints look horrible, the weapons look stupid, and quality is just not there. That left leg thigh cut gap is horrible. I wouldn't be so harsh if it was a $10 figure like it looks to be, but at $32? Yeah, that company isn't lasting long if they don't make some serious course corrections. I wouldn't waste a dime on these personally. The designs look goofy too. That one is honestly the best looking character design. This is going to sound mean, but it looks exactly like what you'd expect a GI Joe knockoff figure from South America to look like.

    good exotic review bro
ok, good, so we got a back up plan if China cuts us off,
    how bad is it?
mmm, the 3 D printed heads are an interesting novelty.
I feel same as you for the weapons from what I see there...
yeah, the colours and overall design is cool, but, there s plenty of spots
where you can see it s a more primitive design....
clueless 'wear' techniques all over, loose harness, obvious joints, robot shoulders...
to do well, these would have to be $5 - 10 less to compete
he d do a good cheap merc to send dying like in Ukraine, idiots who throw their lives away.
dressing hunter at Wal mart, thinking he s going to outdo Rambo on a budget
ah, I totally agree with your final thoughts, it has to be cheaper, or the only brand on shelves...
I think that any newcomer will need a solid system - structure to survive the big crowd.
like eagle force, 2 heads x body, leader - troopers - army builders both in one package
you make a very solid design, and give enough weapons for dif types of troops
only 4 models - factions at first, figs that pop, robots, cults, military, mercs, action
more than 4 could be too risky, and I d cut costs to a minimum.
I love the background scene, like Zartan and gang laughing at this upstart rookie, D
    so now you know...
    good show bro
