  • Recap of all the pop-ups I've done so far and 5 tips on how you can prep for a pop-up. Hope you enjoy!
    About me✨
Hi! I'm Ashley, the owner of Quien Soy Shoppe. I've had my shop since 2019 but was short-lived because of the pandemic. After having my baby in March 2023, I realized I needed a creative outlet so in July of the same year I decided to bring back my business. This time around I decided not to stop at making candles but instead to get into other crafts like magnetic bookmarks, greeting cards, and more recently room sprays! I'm excited to record my journey and take you through how I run my small business!

I need to get better at arriving early 😅 the earliest Ive arrived was an hour before the event started which was still so stressful

Now you have 1 more subscriber than me! Lol, I am new to this too. I do pop-ups and just started my channel. I understand and will be a resource to you as I go along in this journey! POP up prep: 1. Try to see if they had any pics from previous years
    2. I live in DFW there are a lot of places to do pop-ups here so you want to cater to where you are!
    3. I research to see who might come to the pop-up and be sure to have an aesthetic that appeals to them!
    4. Fully set up your Tent at home in a relaxed setting once you have demo'd your everything you like Take a Picture of your creation so that you have something to reference when you are on site.
    5. Finally Make a list of all the things you could possibly need and make a check off to be sure you have packed everything
    6. $500 is great! so IDK what I can suggest to you. I have been told that I don't price my items high enough. I am very new at this but ALL of this is a learning experience. Just get out there and try!

Yes! I would love that! I’ll do the same with you! This youtube thing is no joke but I see the value when I watch other small businesses gain success from this platform!!
Thank you for all of your suggestions! Pricing is so hard tbh. I tend to use my popups to test out different prices or deals like buy 2 for X but ultimately it depends on the audience attending the event. Some events my prices are not a barrier at others theyre a bit too high

Loved this video! I hurried over to your IG to see your products (just followed you back 😊), and your branding is on point and love your aesthetic. Everything you shared is spot on and I wish I had this knowledge when I did my first event in 2015.
My farmers markets are now my bread and butter. When I first started, I was excited to make $350 a market. So for one of your first events to make $500?! That’s incredible! You can only go up from there.
I’m happy to have found your channel and I’m so excited to watch you grow!

i feel like this is a no brainer, but do you recommend having as many products as you can?
i’m scared to have too much and just walk away with the same amount lol

Fair! Lmao I feel like I still struggle with this but it really depends on the estimated attendees and what you think will sell more of fragrance wise. Right now customers want more clean and summer themed fragrances from what I can tell so I bring 3-4 per fragrance that matches then 2 of the rest. But thats only in relation to the farmers market I was attending. There was another market where I brought 4 of each candle and sold out of some fragrances. I think to be safe start out with 3 of each and see what the crowd is like then make adjustments from there
