  • Another HIGHLY requested video. How often do you meet someone who says something like, "I'll eat as many eggs as possible and as much real food as possible, but NO PROTEIN SUPPLEMENTS. EVER."
Invariably, most people who work out longer than 6 months end up using protein powders. Every fit INDIAN who ever started gymming has always doubted the safety and legitimacy of bodybuilding supplements at some point. But ultimately, these opinions change over time. These same individuals use the internet and educate themselves. So all you Indians out there who gym regularly, I feel your pain. The hardest thing is to convince OTHERS of the safety and benefits of supplements. The general public - Parents, spouses and other people who have never seen a dumbell in their life, these people have HUGE misconceptions about these supplements. This is mainly because of the lack of correct fitness education amongst the majority of the Indian population. I've heard people come up to me and say things like "Protein shakes? More like shakes of poison."
Amongst the general population, the word "supplement" is mostly always associated with steroids. Indians tend to jump to conclusions and assume that simple protein shakes will have the same effect as steroids - Hair loss, kidney failure, impotency, etc. The list is endless. A list of endless and baseless myths.
So this video is primarily for EVERY GYMMER out there. Go show it to the individuals who always tend to argue with you without backing their arguments with strong reasoning. Go show it to your mom, who flips out every time you need more protein. But above all, share this video with the general public. This country needs to know the truth.
Its high time this country gets fit-educated.

So glad and fortunate to have come across your channel pertaining to the Indian crowd. You've busted so many myths surrounding girls and gyming. Be it weight lifting or the consumption of protein shakes. Also that once you leave the gym, you gain tremendously, I've been recovering from an injury and trust me when I say this, I haven't put any extra pounds. Your videos are so insanely informative and scientific. Keep it up man!

Ranveer, man I've been following your channel like a shinigami off late. You're so much better than most of the so called self proclaimed fitness youtubers. Keep tubing maan you're good at it or should I say "have become good at it". I have these questions that are bugging me for quite a while and i think you are the only saviour who can answer em. One is about whey and acne!
I have had a personal experience of this and i want you to science the shit out of it. Does consuming required whey protein lead to acne (even when you're hydrated throughout the day and also not constipated)
    2. What will happen if I consume expired whey. It has been just 2 months post its expiry date. No lumps. Still smells the same.
Hope you hit me back or consider these in your next one.
    Peace.
    Sagar

check your weight . if its 60, take 60g of total protien only. increase the dose if you have increased your execise routine. You have to make sure that you do not take it in excess. because in long term, it affects your kidney if you use too much of it like 250g daily. Thats unhealthy. Make sure you drink water properly.

I will be buying a pack for myself soon. Is it suppose to be taken only post rigorous workout like at the gym? Or could it be taken even post some walk or run? What about other days...when there is no exercise...could it be taken those days as well? Thanks.

    • @BeerBiceps
      @BeerBiceps  Před 8 lety +1

+Suneet Makharia Hi Suneet! Thanks so much, i'm glad i could help. Feel free to take whey protein every single day. Even on rest days. Your body grows on rest days. Absolutely anyone can take whey protein without worrying about the so called "consequences". Don't hesitate. The two best times to take it are with breakfast and after a workout. After a workout, your body needs immediate refuelling. So Whey protein is the best option. It will work wonders after a run as well. Just make sure that you're hydrated most of the time while taking it.

Please also highlight the sugar content in the Powder. No healthy product in the world should have sugar. I am talking about processed sugar (cheeni) here not sugar from natural sources such as fruits. Whey Protein is not bad as such, the flavoring in the protein powder is what causes harm. Please read the ingredients and do a research on every single ingredient and you would know if it's good to consume or not. My reco would be if you have to take protein supplements go for the Unflavored variety.

Ok hot man, u can use Amway product. Nutrilite all plant protien. It's good, no front, back,or side effects. I have been using that for 2years, 2nd pack now. It comes in 1kg option. It's available on Amazon with a cool offer. Cost may be manageable.

Hi Ranveer...thanx for this channel , it's very helpful, I hv seen lot of ur videos and they sound cool and trustworthy. After seeing this video I have one question... I had known this fact that most of the protein powder is made from liquid left while making paneer. Then y we throw that liquid and eat only paneer? Secondly can we have that liquid instead of factorymade whey protein, if yes how much can we have?

although u are right but whey protein generally spikes insulin levels higher than general proteins like meat, chicken. Thus, whey protein is probably not a good option.

instead of protein powder, can we include whey liquid extracted after making paneer in our diet in portions like while kneading rotis or boiling vegetables or while making smoothies?
