- Deyja means "to die" in Icelandic. This song is about a symbolic death to be reborn, sometimes darkness is necessary, it is well known that in a lot of cases a shaman reach that role because he went through very dark moments and then reborn as a healer , a shaman.
In the video it is represented by a modern man who is tired of a lifeless city and he feels the calling of a shaman...then the journey begins.

There is something unnatural in the air, something wrong about the way we live and act. If you want to change that, you need to change yourself. Lose your addictions, lose your perversions, start lifting, go to a forest, eat some meat, ride a horse, play with a dog, learn a traditional craft. Know your roots, etch the names of your sleeping gods upon your heart, learn the language of the past, learn your history, most importantly learn to love and respect your land and your brothers and sisters. I find my peace in this. I made my first mjolnir out of stone...carved with Odins knot. Began learning to smith steel and this springs me more peace than I have ever felt.
