Vellum Weld fuses points during simulation where you can tear surfaces apart. Learn how to set up a surface for welding using the edge fracture to break up along existing topology lines. Why i cant animate breakthreshold parametr? solver use solver use value only from first frame
The weld constraint is a bit odd because it works on the points, not the constraint geo. That's why the constraint properties node doesn't work. You need to work on that @weld property and set it to -1 to turn the weld off.
@@griff7543 then what about animating stiffness? Can this be done via a solver? And on prims or points?
@@pinkmoon5332 stiffness is on prims, and yeah everything that's animated needs to be done _in_ the solver (or imported into the solver). Everything prior to the solver is just setting up what happens on frame 1. The solver is the _only_ thing that gets evaluated every frame.
