Mike has such a sweet ball roll. Anytime I get to see him roll it it’s a treat.
still does -- one of the greatest lefties ever -- Earl Anthony was the best lefty overall
RIP Jim Johnson Jr. 🙏
lol Pete with the 4-Life and DDP Diamond Cutter signs. Wrestling was big back in the late 90s
Before he began to SUUUUCK IT!!!
Other than the Storm Blue Thunder (my first bowling ball ever) that slime green Bolt was just a terrific ball. This is still my favorite PDW performance. Watching it live was badass
Too Sweet and 4 Life signs. Great days for wrestling and bowling!
I was working a job in Lepsick at this time. So I went up there and watched this live, sat in the back by the anouncers. My fave at the time was Walter Ray my least fave was Pete Webber.
14:00 Clearview Lanes commercial!!!!! Now that's an awesome scoring house!!!!!
the noise while they are throwing to so flippin' annoying. just stop, damn!
$28,000 to the winner of the PBA National Championship. When Pete Weber won it 9 years earlier, it was $54,000. That’s bowling for you.
OZIO!!! OOOOOOOOO!!!
Baker looks like a guy you wouldn't want to welch on a bet with
Ozio is such a cool guy, he buried the pocket both games but Weber just got all the breaks with the slime ball.
Tami Aulby is watching at home. She did a lot of that in the 1990's. Like all women, she probably put on 60 lbs in the 10 years since 1985 when ABC had their cameras all over her.
1:56 Pete looks just like Ed Norton in this pic.
Spoiler Alert. Please watch all of the matches before you read the comments.

This was the beginning of the steep downfall of the PBA. I don't know who came up with the stupid idea to get the fans to applaud all the time but it was a dumb idea, it was awkward and felt forced. In fact, the first few months you could tell the crowd (at least 99% of them) didn't want to applaud during the players' approach so what ended up happening was it would be mostly quiet and a handful of dummies would shout right at the top of the backswing. What an awful idea :(
Aulby needs to push away from the dinner table.
Unwatchable with all that crowd noise. What a stupid decision by the PBA.
