  • Another week of harvest 2021 has come and gone and its still wet. Even had to pull a semi that was stuck in the mud out with a combine We continue to make progress even though it is slow. Got some drones at CGB at Lyles Station, Indiana making a 900,000 Bushel Pile and we finally cut our Liberty vs Enlist Soybean test.
I’ve gotten a lot of grain pile questions on this video. If you want to learn more about that, here’s a great video by ‪@AgPhD‬

The points on the back of the combine are meant to tie it to a trailer for hauling. I was warned by a dealer towing on those transportation tie points has resulted in at least one guy bending the sieve enclosure in so the sieves wouldn't fit properly anymore. Just an FYI! I know that semi wasn't very stuck like you said. Wrapping a longer chain around the rear portion of the axle frame is the strongest tow point according to the dealer.

Thank God we are following the math and science, conserving resources and saving the environment with ethanol. All of the diesel, propane and coal consumed in growing storing drying and distilling is renewable. All of the chemicals are simply rinsed away into the natural aquifers. The when ethanol causes havoc in the machines that convert it into kinetic energy fail. Well yeah follow the science. I do love the videos because they showcase the dedication, the work ethic, and ingenuity of the people that farm. As far as the best use of our environment and converting as much land as possible to tillage for gas-ahol🧐🤔🤫 do love the farmers of the world. Their sense of urgency and knowing procrastination is evil. Their self reliance (at least for the task at hand) in doing what has to be done👍👍👍subsidies are for a different day.

Corn has a lot of uses but animal feed is where most of it goes to and there’s getting to be a lot of ethanol plants around

@15:00 why would thy leave a big chunk of huge trees in middle of a farming field? ((Is that normal to do?)) Im not a farmer an never been, and know nothing about them, but i would just assume that if them trees are there ,thy are taking needed water and sunlight, and other things the harvest needs?and also mainly the much needed space??🤔.
Eitherway,,may GOD BLESS all these extremely hardworking farmers🙏
-Keep up the GrEaT wOrK- 👍🙂👍

I’m not real sure. We rent this ground and this is only our second year doing so and I’ve never walked those woods to see what’s going on in there.
You’re right that trees hurt the crop and the ability to efficiently farm it. There are a lot of possibilities to why they are still there. Worries about washing since they are on the hedge of a hill, conservation, hunting, or just not wanting to spend the time or money to take them out.
      Thanks for watching

Great video! I have never ran a combine. Lots and lots of balers and swathers but never a combine. And I hear a lot of people saying great things about Case. Always wanted to get a great comparison between them and the other major players (JD, New Holland, and Claas). Most of the comparisons I've seen are major players trying to boost their product by bashing the competition.

@@iversfarms Ahhh interesting! Seems that the X9 has some pretty good reviews. I come from a JD family so all we had were JDs for many years. I think the only non-JD we owned was a New Holland 1069 stack wagon. Anyway, you guys be safe. Great job on the channel and videos.

I found your channel by chance So far really enjoying the channel I love the family atmosphere everyone in on the videos. Got one thing I don't understand tho. How come the arm stays out on the combine and the auger trailers. A lot of farmers do that these days. Just curious about it. If anyone know let me know. Thanks !
