Do you know if the lip that catches on the seat is adjustable, to allow for it to sit higher or lower?
I don't think so, but I'll check next week when I'm home if I can take it apart and move it around!
Great quality for that price. But the cable is gone after 5 seconds with pliers, so better when mounted with screws. But fingerprint scanner instead of a key would be a nice plus👍

Do you think this would work with auto adjusting seats? It would reset and adjust every time I get in my truck.

Thanks! You could put it on the passenger side, the only thing is the button to deploy it would be facing the other side of the box, but you can reach around the box and hit the button and have it ready! You'd just want to practice with that position so you are used to pushing it by hand and not going over the top bc it pops up!
2 questions.
1) do they make a model for the passengers seat or is it "reversible " ?
2) the manufacturer says to leave the chamber empy. Why? I always carry with one in the chamber.

So I don't think they have a reversed model, but if it's on the other side they can push the button!
As far as the don't have one in the chamber, they have to put that there for liability reasons haha. Just to cover their butt's, but I don't think many would not have one chambered

I see a lot of bullet holes in right legs. But a small bolt cutter will remove that box in seconds or just a set of sockets.

Those cables are not so easy to cut. I have on just like it and I had my machine shop guy use various hand tools to try to cut it and it took the best and strongest at least 45 minutes to get it cut. No thief is going to work at it that long. The weak point is actually the lock, which a decent bolt cutter can get through in seconds.
@@danbeuscher9679 Cordless angle grinder will zap the lock or cable in seconds, at the cost of being noisy.

I like the concept but in todays day and age with red dots and lights being prevalent I’m surprised the design overlooks these attachments. Would be an awesome addition if it accommodated these with the current configuration not worth the money
It won't work for all, but my friend had an optic and flashlight on his glock 19 and it worked great! I have a short video up with him drawing his glock with that setup somewhere on the page!

Really like the idea but in California, you "can't" loaded the mag (mag with bullets in them) into the gun while transporting. But it's legal as long as you don't get caught.

I feel that! They are USA based so have more expenses than if they had it made overseas. The code Zach10 I think brings it down to 250 at least. It still is expensive, I do agree, but it's pretty cool as well haha.
@@ZachHollenbaugh don’t get me wrong it’s a good product and I definitely love that it’s USA made. Just doesn’t feel like 300 is justified. Then again I’m no engineer and maybe they feel the cost of labor, development and manufacturing is justified. Personally as a consumer I wouldn’t pay more than 2-230 for that though. And that’s not considering that it has no real lock security behind it (biometrics, code, etc.) but again a case could be made against that for ease of access. Great product though without a doubt!

It is a bit pricey! NGL, but with the Zach10 Promo it's 250 I think, so a little better. I have it closer to 200 in my head but it's also a USA company so I know the over head is higher than most!
