  • Natural Gas set up / conversion for a Yoshan Dongyi 2kg Coffee Roaster.
Pressure for NG in China must be different from typical US specs.
Three main changes from the factory.
    1. The solenoid needed a larger orifice to pass more volume with lower pressure. Here is the Amazon link for a 1/2" port and 220v: www.amazon.com... Model number: 2W160-15
    2. Remove a lot of the plumbing.
The valves that came with the unit had small orifices that do not allow enough volume under typical NG pressure. I would like to find a good way to remove that last 90 degree angle, but the pressure is very adequate now.
    3. Burner orifice
Here's a chart that will help figure out what orifice you might want. I forget what I ended up with, I'll have to update this when I remember to check.

Mahmoud, I need to get these details right to make sure I calculate it correctly.
First: How many burners do you have under the drum. The 2kg model has 5. Second: What pressure are you working with? Third: Is 60,000btu your goal? That's a lot of heat power for a 2kg.

what was your original pressure with the KPA gauge and the valves?
