MONARCA Season 3 Canceled By Netflix Despite Great Reviews, Osvaldo Benavides Confirms

- Hey, guys! Despite our best hopes, unfortunately, Netflix decided NOT to proceed with Season 3 of Monarca and canceled the Mexican series after two seasons. The cancelation was confirmed by the show’s star, Osvaldo Benavides, who played Andres Carranza. Osvaldo wrote on his Instagram: “I’m saying goodbye to Andres Carranza . What a pleasant project. Thanks for everything, Monarca. What pride to have participated.” It’s very unfortunate that the series with such high IMDb viewer approval rating of 8 out 10 got axed by Netflix, especially considering a very explosive second season and a huge cliffhanger finale. Now we’ll never know how the Monarca story ends and if Ana Maria and Andres manage to take the company back from Joaquin. The cancellation was a surprise considering that Monarca has been in Top 10 Netflix charts for weeks in Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Venezuela, and even in the US. For those of you who enjoyed Monarca, we highly recommend checking out the newest Netflix Original series from Mexico, called Who Killed Sara? Starring Narcos alum Manolo Cardona, it’s an exciting crime drama series about one man plotting the revenge against a powerful family. yeah even if it means just adding a few more episodes to season 2. i'd still be bummed that they took it off but at least we'd have closure

Monarca was one of the best Spanish language shows on Netflix. i can’t believe they didn’t get a goodbye, a way to end all the cliffhangers. amazing acting from the entire cast and a riveting story with richly decorated, gorgeous backdrops. a true shame on Netflix that they let this amazing show go.

Darn! This sucks ! Today was my first day to watch the show and then I find this?!! Netflix is so backwards.
I first watched who killed sarah..but monarca is the best...I don't like the fact that it was cancelled and you are not giving a good reason...I wanna know what happened to Anna Maria and Andress??? Did they take the company back??? Did Ana went to jail for kidnapping her husband??
Disappointed there will not be season 3
I just finished the first two seasons. I enjoyed it a lot but got tired of all the loose ends and then they leave more huge loose ends at the ending. It leaves such an unsatisfied, disappointed feeling. Seems crazy they would cancel it when it was so popular. Even when the story seemed contrived the acting was excellent and the characters engaging.
I really wanted to see Joaquin get his & the family get their company back. I was so sad not to see a season 3. That wasn't nice to leave people hanging in the balance without a great ending. 😢
I just found out this series, and I can believe no more than 2 sessions😢

I watch what happened season 1 and 2 last year and want to watch season 3 and much more curious about what happened to the Monarca Tequila brand and hotels, is ficticious name and never heard of brand or family like that, but guess we will not see it for now. Netflix is taking out best series canceled or bought by other streamers applications, what is going on then no allowing family accounts? Is bizarre and will lose viewers authorized to accounts to watch base in freeloaders hackers unauthorised opportunists. What can fix that? Do I need to pay a Netflix for each of my children, friends and family? Bad business strategy in my opinion but is their business anyways. I gave thumbs up and others I know love it, I guess my opinion don't matters but was well done in my opinion actors are really good actors so convincing like it was real all was going on there. Hope is renewed for more seasons at Netflix app.
kinda need someone to pick up season 3 if netflix wont do it. needs at least an ending. did they take back the company. what about the young girl that looked like she was raped by that 43yr old.
I just finished watching it yesterday and I was like OMG season 3 is going to be good!! Then I noticed that it’s been a couple of years since and no season 3 so I googled to find this 😩😤😠What a bummer! The series was so good. Hopefully someone else picks up where it left off😒

Honestly, its not the best but its not the worst show!!! Some of characters acting is mediocre! I think it could have been better if they had a better actors. The storyline is ok, could be better!
They canceled because this series shows the real colors of the Mexican people.
