The Last Hero album from which this song is a part of, gets alot of unjust flak from many AlterBridge fans who generally pin their disappointment on the overly compressed production done on the record. They therefore don’t generally include this album amongst ABs awesome first 4 albums. I disagree with the dissenters. The Last Hero is a great album and has one kick ass epic song after another - all the way through. Yes they changed their sound a bit. They are more aggressive and proggy in moments. And it all works in my opinion. I’m impressed that they are always changing and growing - and it always is excellent. Great band of musicians!
Fully agree, if anything as a whole I prefer it to Fortress.

This is a great song! This was Edges new theme in wwe because he was creating a faction called judgment day and then not long after that judgment day turned on em and kept this song and edge went back to metalingus. I was pissed they ruined that whole angle
Same. Finn balor is not the guy to run judgement day, and it was perfect the way it was with edge.
@@lindugger4781 Well the entire point of Judgment day is that there are no leaders yet Edge was bossing them around and telling them what to do so it made sense to kick him out even if he didn't like it. Finn led the Bullet Club in their prime, I think he can handle being a member of a much less group.
Bad takes, The Judgement Day with Edge was awful, 0/10 shit booking. But the group has been incredible since Balor and Domonik joined.

Myles is a whole different level
Every person should not be swayed by anyone on who they vote for. Ppl vote based on beliefs and their own situation. Anyone famous or in a position of influence or authority needs to shut up about politics. All members of Alter Bridge except for Myles Kennedy were in Creed. And Myles Kennedy sounds nothing like Scott Stapp lol... React to the Live version of Words Darker Than Their Wings from Royal Albert Hall.
This. Lol. Maybe because Myles is in a lower register I will give a pass on this song, but he sounds nothing like Scott Stapp and I happen to like Creed and Stapp's voice (not a fan of the person).

I actually used to work with Wind-Up Records Canada and was lucky enough to meet the guys in Alter Bridge before they left the label... All super cool guys... I met Scott Stapp too on his tour bus and he was very kind... Don't always believe stuff you hear about people on the internet.
The instrumentation sounds nothing like Creed either tbh. I'd never have guessed it was the same dudes.
Myles always had like a glam rock kinda feel to his voice wheres Stapp kinda leans towards a grungy kinda sound

The Last Hero, overall is about leaders/heroes. Specifically, how regardless of how good they start out being or genuinely are, we as the public tear them down because at the end of the day they are human and power corrupts even the best people, or at the very least all of the special interests, render them compromised. So heroes dont exist even though we need them.
Edge from wwe has great luck....two great themes...both from same band 😊

This song is talking about anyone who thinks they're better then everyone else bc of what the believe and their standard of living.
