This piece revolves around Lord Rama, the human embodiment of perfection. The title, “Raghuvamsa Sudha,” translates to “the heir of the sun” in reference to Lord Rama. The composer portrays Rama as having a moon-like face, and compares the way he removes one’s sins like gusty winds blow the clouds away. The dancer tells the story of Parasurama's bow, that is known to be impossible to string. Rama defeats Parasurama’s superfluous ego by nonchalantly stringing and breaking the invincible bow.
