Listen to the absolute power blitzkrieg album, my dad is on lead guitar, you won’t regret it.

Still listening to cds?......I have the vinyl!
wildvikes1: Nice!
@@wildvikes1 CD's are better, more practical and don't sizzle !!
I still listen to CDs too, downloading etc is lame.
That's OK. I still listen to CDs too, although I usually prefer vinyl. But even MP3 downloads are useful a lot, hahaha.
One fo the best of all times! Great band! Fantastic album! Nice vocals and pretty good guitars!

awesome debut album from underrated new wave of british heavy metal band blitzkrieg. a band that did have a few albums just did not make it big, but still a real good solid band. they have magic. from leicester england. #nwobhmforever

solid album. cant wait for March 2017 when this will be re issued on RED vinyl
At the time, the have ten albums.
Just listened to this album for the first time. Enjoyed every second of it!
The singer from Satan is here, holy sheeit!!
And Satan's "Into the Fire" demo, sounded like Blitzkrieg XD
Great find, thanks for the recommendation
Ooooh I never noticed this, so obvious now. This explains why Pull The Trigger are on both Albums.
AWESOME band!
This band was sadly overlooked in much of the states but the good people of Fresno CA loved them. (We know good rock)

I really dig this era of metal!
Cool vocal.
Brian Ross is really good.
Blitzkrieg sounds cool, it's an intresting alteration of the single/demo one!
That demo wasn't a great recording. They have made better versions since.
pwoods100 demo version was better
Thewise one: I have to agree with you. Awful tones, bad mixing too.. it's a shame (for such a GREAT song)

Geniall!!!!!
Peter Steele must have been a fan of this band.Good album!
Awesome rock on......
All the vocals sound like they were recorded in a cement basement. This is a case where the demos sounded better than the finished album. By a lot. The demo for Inferno is damn near perfection.
Shout ! shout ! shout to me ! across the snow...
Sing ! sing ! sing to me ! all winter long...
Fucking love blitzkrieg!
It's a classic of Nwobhm 10.Hail to Mick Moore.
Um vocal potente igual no álbum que ele gravou com o Satan.

Oh my god, singer's voice is so freaking good! But i don't like the production. It lost the rawness that demo had. Too bad...
Yeah, this is much worse than the demo
10 years of Blitzkrieg contains the demo
Metallica took this band as their template, added more distortion and faster tempo, then rode that rocket to fame and fortune. I hear James in the vocals/ guitar, Kirk in the solos and Cliff in the bass, and Lars in the drums.
Not sure how commonly held a view this is, but I see James Hetfield's vocal style as borrowing heavily from the vocals on the Blitzkrieg/Buried Alive 7'' that was released in '81.
you could say he tried but he was more obviously trying to sound like Sean Harris
Now we know where Metallica copied, I mean, got their sound from. They just sped up the tempo added some more distortion and presto change o, Metallica was born!!!
@@pkepix5405and only ended up sounding like Blitzkrieg's vocalist.
@@couchwarrior2449 except brian ross's vocals are much more talented than hetfield's
maravilha de som ❤
haha do a cover from Satan with the same singer :P kinda funny IMO!
AeroFix94 why? Danzig covered misfits songs in samhain, then he covered a couple Sakhalin songs when he started his selftitled band "danzig".
Pretty sure Helloween did the same thing. . .or something similar at least.
Holy shiiiiiittt

Sick as speed metal!!
şahanetörrr
1st track sounds like dead can dance anywhere out of this world
Afirmei tal coisa ? Não ! , acho que a mudança ocorreu de uma disputa por nome. Entre um dos integrantes com o resto da banda.
🤘👏👊 1° classe
heavy metal is true
TONIGHT !!!!!

+Francísca Makarena Seiffërt V ...LOL....love your personality!!!!
Is that the singer of Satan?
+Metalthrashinmadman96 Yeah, it is. It's Brian Ross, who reformed this band after leaving Satan in the 80's. As you probably know, he's Satan's current vocalist once again, and is currently the active vocalist for both Blitzkrieg and Satan.
+Baphomet Cool, I thought that sounded like him.
+Metalthrashinmadman96
Brian is an awesome singer.
Yes, it is.
Satan, and Blind Fury too
That's beacause satan gave me this ears...FUCKIN' AMAZING!!!
Trouble was this came out at the end game of NWOBHM and never got the attention it deserved, same goes for a number of fine bands who finally got a album out when the press attention was focused on Bay area thrash and L. A glam. Shame but hey ho. Let's enjoy it now.
it is ex therion?
Demos are superior to this.
sounds too polished compared to the demos
LETTUCE HAVE PIZZA!!!
LETTUCE HAVE RICE!!!
Casualty they just reunited in 1991, when Metallica broke out with their best selling eponymous album. Will it be a coincidence?
However, as a fan of earlier Metallica (especially of Ride the lightning and Master of puppets), I have to admit that the guitar riff of song Blitzkrieg czcams.com/video/aK95n93dCMw/video.html
is very close to the one of the song Master of Puppets, and likely it inspired Metallica to compose it. 🎸🎹
Con un poco mas de produccion en el sonido mas que todo en la parte ritmica de bass and drums, este album seria mucho pero mucho mejor
BLITZKRIEG TRES BON GROUPE DE HARD ROCK

согласен.
The track 'Blitzkrieg' is a rip of 'Hocus Pocus' by Focus. Not that I care. It still rules.
That was one too many "ocuses"
No, it's a rip off of metallica. They stole the whole song.
επικό...
Is fucking PERFECT
Blitzkrieg - Armageddon (1980) - Metallica - Phantom Lord (1983): czcams.com/video/L8TCa_X1NSk/video.html
the Armageddon riff actualy is Thin Lizzy's Are Your Ready lol
many of their riffs were based on "hocus pocus" from focus.
Court In The Act is better in my opinion.
David Savage Why would you post that on this album?
***** Because Brian Ross was involved in both albums I guess. Pretty stupid statement to make though.
Satan is not as well known as Blitzkrieg, so maybe some people here have never heard that album. Since it is the same singer I think many Blitzkrieg fans would enjoy Court In The Act. It's just my preference, no need to be so sensitive. I heard the first Blitzkrieg single and Court In The Act before I heard this album, and to me, this album is not as good as either. It just sounds a bit weak to me, I was a little disappointed. Its not bad though.
+David Savage Each one with his own personal tastes and opinions.... But, Blitzkrieg is less popular/known compared to Satan... Satan has more support nowadays from the media enfocated on the Heavy metal
+js007kcor I figured that since Blitzkrieg had a song covered by a mainstream band like Metallica they would be more well known, here in the U.S. anyway. Maybe in Europe it's different. Satan had a song covered by Blind Guardian, they're a pretty big deal, right? Btw, Satan played in my town last year and it was great, one of the better shows I've been to for sure. They surely deserve the increasing support.

When vocalist screams it sounds like he got kicked in the balls. OOOOOWWWWWW OWWWWWWWWW OOOOOOOOOWWWWWW!!!!
what a nasty cover
Yes, it is a crap! Fortunately, the music is pretty good, although inferior to the original Blitzkrieg.
They are way better than commercial Def Leppard
Metallica covered Blitzkrieg, who originally released this song?
bmay81 Blitzkrieg
Blitzkrieg made a song Blitzkrieg in 1981. Metallica covered it
@@jeppyjep 1980 actually
@@erojerisiz1571 no. Its 1981 when the single Buried Alive was released

Look at their discographies
@@jeppyjep there's a 1980 demo
None of my relatives were in this band.
It's always amazing to me just the degree to which Metallica stole songs and ideas from the British Bands, and the degree to which Dave Mustaine by himself really didn't do that much. I may myself not be a conservative nor agree with many of his takes, but he really did kinda of respect other people's work more.
Well, it's one of these things. On this record Blitzkrieg rip off Focus not on one but on two first tracks. 😁 Sounds good, though.
The mixing/production on this album blows! Such a pity cos the songs themselves are epic!
sounds absolutely fine
lol shut up you fuckin nerd
Blitzkrieg intro, Focus' Hocus Pocus rip off
Yes!
13 posers
Looks like a Metallica
Im sure when he says "save us from hate, save us from fate, save ourselves before its to late" he is talking about todays way of life....kids glued to computers!....all the shit in the middle east....the shite chart music of today. there is so much bull shit in todays society!
not very impressive considering metallica's ride the lightning came out a year before it. but blitzkrieg was never thrash anyways, i guess
The songs were actually written in 1980 way before Metallica came out with an album. The band broke up in 81 and reunited in 84 to record the album that was supposed to have been made in 81. Blitzkrieg is my favorite NWOBHM band, as they have evolved and made many great albums since.
Ozterkvlt Blitzkrieg released Buried Alive, a single with Blitzkrieg as its B side, in 1981
Why compare bands that don't even play the same music?
metalfuk1 because they could've gone in a harder direction. this is alot more watered down compared to the demo/single imo
Jaguar faced the same fate.
I love the single, but this one is just terrible.
