ATS also needs optimisation like ETS2. ETS2 1.50 is stable on FPS while ATS struggles to maintain 30 FPS on the same settings as ETS2.

For me it’s opposite for some reason. ATS runs perfectly fine while ETS2 lags. Even the main menu micro lags. Both games have the same settings

When we turn on the headlights of our own vehicle, the frame rate drops by 35 FPS, which is an issue that needs improvement. When the headlights of other vehicles are on and our vehicle's headlights are off, the frame rate is 75 FPS.
Compared to previous updates, there is an improvement, which is a good effort. However, there is still a drop of 35 FPS when the headlights are on. Generally, this was a game where I saw 70 FPS at 1080P with 200% scaling and max settings in the previous update. Now, when I turn off the headlights, I get between 60 and 70 FPS. At 300% scaling with max settings at 1080P, I see between 35 and 40 FPS. In my opinion, the game graphics deserve to be played with at least 300% scaling.
However, at 300% scaling, when I turn on the headlights, I see 17 FPS due to the drop, which is very disappointing. This is because, with my current hardware, I can play games like World of Tanks and Forza Horizon 4-5 at full graphics settings in 1080P with at least 100 FPS. I didn't want to make a comparison, but with this hardware-AMD 5600x processor, 16GB 3600MHz RAM, GTX 1050ti graphics card, SSD-playing at 400% scaling, full settings, and 1080P resolution with headlights on at 45-60 FPS would be the real improvement.

@@vutomy "Okay, now I understand what you mean. I removed the light accessories from the vehicle. I also uninstalled all workshop mods. Now, I'm getting 35fps at 1080p resolution with full graphics at 400% scaling.
The fps remains stable at gas stations and in some cities (Vienna). For example, in Vienna, it dropped to 25fps, which is excellent compared to before for 400% scaling and full graphics settings. The smoothness isn't bad, and the graphics are good.
However, at these settings, one still expects a bit better performance. I don't want to make comparisons, but as I mentioned, there is a significant difference in other games. I think I'll lower it to 300% scaling for better smoothness. Maybe it's time for me to change my graphics card. I also saw your video on graphics settings, but it didn't cover other topics like these light accessories. Thank you for your effort and attention."

Your GPU from 2016 is now completely outdated. It’s impossible for devs to improve the game significantly if they have to consider hardware which doesn’t support certain render methods and techniques or is simply too slow today for such a complex game.
I strongly recommend to upgrade your system, looking at all components, also the mainboard to get a well balanced, modern gaming PC for your desired budget. I guess after that all issues you have now will be history.
I removed all the mods when I downloaded the update,didnt had any problems

@@vutomy As those maps are old(I think)I can play it smoothly but going to the lower parts of the map like Montenegro my game lags crashes freezes and turns my pc off so it's for UK😊
The old maps are terrible for realistic physics. You can’t even drive there on the highway with 80-90 km/h (50-56 mph) or you’re truck tips over

I can only run on them and I get a smooth gameplay if I had a better graphics card and an SSD I would surely try the new maps
I play with everything at maximum, this includes scaling at 400%, my average fps is 60, 50 but when I turn on the lights they immediately drop to 40, 45.
me too on some of my mods I had the road completely in purple it was catastrophic it looks like I was at Barbie

I went from High/Ultra settings to medium. Game runs smooth and i am not noticing any MAJOR differences, even won some FPS.
The random lag(or FPS) spikes are terrible though....
I had 120+ fps before the 1.50 update. After the 1.50 came, after I turned on the light on my Scania truck, I had 30 fps. I really hope that it will be better later. Because I have an rtx 3060 ti and an i5 12600k processor.
I didn't know that after update 1.50 the game often suddenly crashed. This happens when using mods or not using mods

at 3:41 you mention Athens but the 3 first photos are at Piraeus not Athens
When my game lags, it shows an error and the game stops. Any idea to fix that?
Its much better. Its running smooth and fast, looks great, more details, even on an internal hdd. If only I could get the right stick working so I dont have to use steam controls which are far too sensitive.

Yeah it’s causing issues to make pc’s run way too hot especially if it’s in low settings with a high end pc. Definitely need to fix the optimization or will see fireworks nationwide lol😂

I was playing ATS v1.50 it’s crash-lagging and freezing. I got over 200 mods people telling this my mods causing the game to crash and lagging. I opened the game and created a new profile after a few minutes the game crashed when I tried to open it back, I got this 👉 The game filesystem failed to initialize, aborting now. I watched videos on how to fix that go to Window Security do they verify the integrity file? It's still happening restart the PC it's happening every I try to open the game after a crash. When it’s finally open I go to my previous profile on level 15 and disable all of my mods the game keeps crashing. Updated my driver check for viruses nothing. Go to Steam settings download clear Steam cache and reinstall Steam nothing.

i have no issues with theese things, the onyl issue for me is too dark interior
ya some people just have different problems as for me I have stutters, it happens no matter what graphic settings I put, new profile, disabled all mods including on new profile, I tested multiple mods, does the same on ATS but its not as bad as ETS2. There is a SCS forum with a couple people who has the same problem, no solution yet.
Stranges you are complaining about micro stutters, I had in 1.49 a lot microstutters, and with the 1.50 update, is almost gone.
I've just deleted my profiles and created a new one and all pinky bugs are gone 😂😂😂😂 in both ets 2 and ats.

After updating and making the graphic setting Low or Medium some polygon was not rendering and there physic was also gone. Lags and fps drops🥲
