I actually quite liked the voiceover, less wind and better quality. Maybe not all the time but deffo consider that for future videos
What music was you using Cam?
*Local* Legends : travels 200 miles away from local area 😂👍🏻
haha yeah I think the purpose of this feature is for people who live near the segment
RIP Alex, everyone is coming for your legend 😂
The day after Alex reclaimed it...surely.
Dulwich park is Literally 3min cycle from my house, coming for you Cameron 💪🏼😂
Same
Rory Gurney next week let’s take it from Cameron
sirsenior1999 where do you live?
Rory Gurney add me on Strava, James Senior
sirsenior1999 I’m in, about 15 minutes away
Poor Alex, 2 random chaps from Manchester just came in and took his local legends status in a day and then made a video about it
am i the only person who found a segment that no-one rides and got a local legend after doing it twice?
Ur lucky am in the Manchester so no why am gonna be able to do a local legend.
Trick is to hold onto it!
@@ryantaylor841 I'd recommend lookng up Alex on Strava, seeing which segment he rode, heading over and doing it 3 times!
Done that with 4 reps of a segment.
I am in a top 10 for ladies at a local park after I pushed my bike whilst eating an ice cream with my Strava on (forgot to pause it).
Part of me wants to travel up to London now and give this a shot
😂😂 class video as always cam 👏🏼👏🏼
Since you are from up north, I didn’t ever expect you to choose Dulwich Park. I live 10 minutes from there!
I did a 200km audax, out and back 10 times over a 20km out and back... I could see home at each turn around... horrible cross wind... really hard to not just pop home... the hardest mental route I've ridden. 110 times around a park, that is legendary! Well done.
Cam: the last thing you want to do after 6.5 hours of riding is not get the record, so we’re going to do a couple more laps
Me: the last thing you want to do after 6.5 hours of riding is do a couple more laps!
Hi cam best youtuber ever!!!! Me and my mates cycled around Regent’s Park inner circle which is 1km 100 times!!!! Bear in mind, we are 14 years old!!!!! Alez alez alez!!!
Your such a pro
Good video Cameron! I never thought of doing such a think, as there are lots of better rides or challenges to do. Cycling has to be fun. However, well done to both of you!!
Created a segment on my street, ride up and down once, local legend, job done. 😜
The whole of Dulwich Park has a 5mph speed limit. Unless my maths is rubbish, I assume you may have crept over it slightly.
I struggle to keep a bike upright under like 6 miles per hour on flat
Mate this is mental, I lived in Dulwich (moved abroad 3 months ago) and my local park was Dulwich (I even went to the school there Dulwich College). The Park was where I'd do my local rides. Its funny cause at some point during lockdown I was doing at least 30 laps a day there everyday for a couple weeks. If I would have stayed I think I might have put your record down a little if I tried it for the full 90 days haha. Brilliant video though and a shame i didnt get to see you beat this little record.
keep publishing cam🤘 really enjoy watching your vids👍
Awesome video! Thanks for keeping me entertained during this damn quarantine duuuude
Outstanding - The Voiceover Works - No Biggie - Righteous Episode
Cheers
"We didn't cause any harm to any of the other park users" - take it easy Cameron, you just went for a cycle
Physically they were ok, but I don't think he checked to see if any of their minds were blown by his Strava prowess
I did 3 laps round Dulwich park once and got some very stern looks from parents with buggys. Reckon he pissed alot of people off...😂
as someone who's daily ride used to be round dulwich park (30 laps or so everyday) I can guarantee he got plenty of abuse from the other people there. The amount of time I almost crashed due to people being negligent and how packed the park can be, not even to mention that Dulwich is ridiculously posh, its hard to avoid stuff going down...
Thanks for explaining how to access the local legends segments. Very helpful!
Haha as if you had to go back to do some more laps, gutting. Cool video!
I’m attempting a segment tomorrow to try and get the local legend great video as always 💪
awesome!! That face near the end, is similar to the one i pull when there are 2 miles left and its all climbing haha. Great video!:)
Wow, awesome vid, I just picked up my new road bike and can't wait to go some amazing rides whist the streets and roads are quiet during lockdown.
There's no quiet roads these days
Too late
Would have been funny if Alex knew what you were doing and kept doing laps😄. Good work anyway mate👍
I was wondering if he saw them doing insane laps and just upoed his usual route with a few laps. Or maybe alex was in one of those recumbent tricycles 😂
lol, went to check the local legend segments near me as per Cameron's instructions. Turns out i'm already the local legend on my closest segment. Go me :-)
Did you not check out the Herne hill Velodrome just behind Dulwich park less than a quarter of a mile away
Who else was confused after seeing the rides on strava?
What do you find confusing?
@@assaultedpeanut9 umm... Riding around a London park many times I guess🤷
👍🏻 good effort mate!
Keep on making videos love all of your vids
Surprised no one got concerned enough about two blokes riding the same lap for 7 hours to call the cops tbh
lmao its not the usa
I'm getting the word "Park Nonce"
No one is there for long enough to notice how long they were there
It’s London, no one gives a shit what other people are doing
I can only wonder why Cameron has 2 saddles on his super-duper indoor bike 🤔
Was looking forward to this after seeing that crazy Strava ride
I have a 1 mile loop park near me, I’ve done 257 the last 90 days
It’s a great lap if I ever need a little more to get a nice even number
I would do 10 a day at the end you've done 900 miles
Nice Video Cam, try not to get stuck in a lockdown or in quarantine! Have a nice break!
Dulwich..? Rural...???! Anyways, according to my dad who used to do them in the 1950s, Dulwich Park unofficially hosted evening crits until a barrier was put up to stop them. (These were probably the forerunner of the summer series of tuesday evening races at Crystal Palace.) Nowadays though it hosts a parkrun, and being practically pan-flat and tarmaccy, is used as a PB course.
As born and raised Dulwich girl, that's exactly what I thought! Dulwich is definitely not rural, not even in the slightest!
Haha fair play for grinding that effort out 👏
What a legend
Awesome buddy awesome
3:11 😂😂😂😂😂 Trust me, they’re violating everyone!
You always make me laugh. What a great idea.
Ever fancy coming to Scotland and doing some rides up here? North Coast 500 for example would be a blast!
Like the music!!
Greetings from Finland!
Is there a segment on the channel that you can take with the ferry? xD
ClemensAlive yes mate
Local Legends is currently available for athletes located in the US, UK, France, Spain, Germany, Japan, Brazil, Canada, and Australia.
Of all the parks in London you manage to get my Local! I will have to attempt to take it off of you and upload the proof....... Only if I am successful. Nice Work BTW!!!
Quality that! Must have been SO boring! Well done to you both!
Good vid and nice to see you local to me, but it's a bit of a boring place to ride. There's a bitch of a hill half a mile away, I'd have enjoyed an everesting attempt up Sydenham Hill, Fountain Drive or College Road! :)
Alex is probably some 15 year old kid just riding to school, now being the most famous rider in London. haha
With the 90 days rolling he’ll get it back pretty quickly too I’d guess. ?
I'm taking that podium in my local park from you 😈
You should try and come to Sefton Park, bit more local in Liverpool and beat the local legend. 978 times on a 3.6k loop.
Saw this on strava wondered what was going on😂
Super fun vid great job! What components and frame is your Ribble bike of choice? Hope you respond and keep the great content!!
Hi Cameron just a quick question Middleton CC is that the Middleton nr Rochdale and Manchester
my old local park!
Just checked the closest segment to me and I’m the local legend haha.
Legend.
5:07 omfg what is that thing on cams chin . is that a mini beard?
I don't mind the voiceover either... Nice job. Now, do it again! :-)
I’m sure it was mentioned but you could have done some laps at Herne Hill track as well. I’ll tell you where to park next time
3 pound for a double ice cream? That's on the cheap side...
Get north mate. It's £1.50 in wigan
Ben ledwith Yes, but you have to eat it in Wigan.
Hi Cameron. Did you get sore on one side (ie upper back or shoulders) from constantly riding clockwise/anticlockwise? Cheers.
I think it's sweet thinking about Alex doing his (about) one mile bicycle ride every evening. Maybe he was there that day you were there. You should have asked every cyclist if they were Alex. :)
Where did you get them bib shorts with the pattern on the one leg?
can you do a video on the cgr ti? really interested in it but dont see a lot content about it
I saw this on Strava n was wondering is he gonna make this into a video.
ayyyy Give the shoutout to Richmond park
That's the one everyone wants. Surprised Jeffers didn't go for that one. I have a sneaking suspicion he just sourced that one that wan't that competitive whilst just about justifying and 10 minute video! Also he managed to get 'London Park' in the title without doing the actual 'London Park'.
Landan! Landen. What are those glasses man?
Are you finally coming to Italy? Or (as always) to Maiorca?
time to do this hehe
A legend for approximately one day....
Poor old Alex. 😂
You should do Regents Park. It's a 3 mile circuit with 5 sets of traffic lights. A lot of cyclist so you won't do it in one day. Thanks
Is your rear brake on the left side?
I probably and the only one who things like this but I don't know whether it's the grind of doing daily videos but got to say I miss your old style videos of daily life rather than these challenge videos.
This reminds me of the dizzy dolphin on Zwift, only slow.
Which top tube bike bag does he use?
Should of searched for a segment that hasn’t been ridden much, would of been a lot easier 😂
Hey Cam I've just purchased an Endurance SL in teal blue, just wondering if you've ever ran 30c or 32c tyres on it? Do you enjoy riding it?
How the local ‘legend’ is not an all time leaderboard is beyond me. Im definitely top of my local climb. Was looking forward to getting that legend status to impress the BBWs
Cam, which version of the Saint Piran Castelli Custom jersey where you wearing in this vid, the "CASTELLI SAINT PIRAN COMPETIZIONE REPLICA TEAM JERSEY" or the "CASTELLI SAINT PIRAN AERO 6.0 RACE JERSEY" ?? looking to buy one !!!
Have u already ordered your Tarmac SL7 Cam?
Hilarious. I grew up 1k from Dulwich Park, not in the posh area (although I now live 20 000ks away). Even learnt to ride a bike there in the 1980's.
To be clear, it is definitely not "central London". Dulwich is in the southern suburbs of South London and is super posh, super expensive and Dulwich Village, which the park borders is stupidly rich.
Lovely place, Dulwich Park, but I reckon you have done more laps of it now than I ever did. I reckon I can beat you still at Herne Hill Velodrome though.
Crazy you must have passed Alex
Could have found a segment ridden less than 110 times pretty easily 😂
Right? Pretty sure there are a few near me that I could get in like 20-25 or so
They hold crit races there in the summer
Ummmmm @1:13 it says Alex has 115 laps. Oops!
Wonder how long it will last. I give it a week max.
Me and my club HBC cycled 100 laps around our local 1 km park lol
Well done mate!! What’s HBC? Can I join?? I’ll get all the lazy people to come!!
@@moishekaufman7161 Unfortunately you cant join as you have to be able to get out of bed at speeds of up to 48kph for sustained periods which i do not think you can do
One little point: did you just assume that Alex was a chap or did you check their profile?
The recumbents in there suck big time, so unpredictable. How many times did you get screamed at about the speed limit in there lol
Battersea Park would be good for this
Why London? why didn't you do the guild wheel or summet cha?
Bet this went down really well with all the parents with buggys having a pro running 110 laps round Dulwich park to claim local legend 😅
Going back to do a few more laps? Not quite Lachlan Morton doing two Everest’s in a week, but fair play.
There is a chap called Alex who has the ParkRun record at Dulwich Park too. Also they not park in Dulwich Park it's free??
No video for your 100mile tour of the lakes?
Is £3 for a double whippy w flake too much? I didn’t know we were getting the shaft on ice cream too!
wonder if you guys biked pass the dude that day haha
