I only watch this for the whispering of "secret tech."

@@NitpickingNerds it can be tough to play in Aminatou. You need her to be out to be good, can't do it at instead speed which is what makes it crazy in roon, and even with all that if your aminatou dies (very likely) and you've passed it they can steal it when you cast

FUN FACT: You used to be able to check out puzzles from your local library. This has fallen by the wayside since the introduction of television, but at the beginning of the 20th century it was a very popular form of family entertainment to rent or borrow a puzzle for a weekend. A lot of libraries still let you do that so check out your local library!
As for Cherry's question about missing puzzle pieces: I dunno man what about people who don't return library books or rewind tapes (back in the day)? Ya fine them and use the fine to buy a replacement. Simples.

Haze of rage is underrated it appears in 1472 decks on edhrec despite being a strong enabler for spell slinger strategies only 1r with a buyback of 2. It doesn't matter what the effect, but it gives +1/+0 for tokens. Because it has storm and buyback, it can just go infinite with storm-kiln artist with a storm ount of 3 or 1 if your commander is veyran. Also, this card is super accessible as a $0.25 uncommon. It a should be way higher less than 1% of decks and probably goes into most decks that have storm-kiln artist or archmage emeritus.

Okay, so expensive thought for the puzzle pieces...
Each piece has an NFC chip inside, each piece has it's own code (from 1-500 or however many pieces there are).
When the rental puzzle comes back, they can just put the box on a detector (or whatever the correct name is) and it can read all the NFC data and check that everything is there.
It would be able to see what piece(s) are missing, i.e. piece #367 is missing; then the company can just get the piece that is missing from a spares box or something, add it back in and have a small charge to the customer who lost the piece.
I'll wait for my cheque in the post....

Sadistic Hypnotist, can also target you... Which in black probably isn't the worst thing if you really need something in the grave. Also I think some of the reason these cards don't get played is there salt/online play annoyance. For example Chimera is a bit misserable to play in an online format because you have exchange of cards and its also kinda of a stacks peice. I only run it in my stacks deck and thats also because it synergizes with enchantment tribal.

    • @The_Grimsun

Thought of course youd have to have that puzzel like scanned in before you lose the peice so idk how practical that is, I guess puzzle makers already kinda have that print out before they cut the puzzels.. but I don't know if theyd want to share that.

@@NitpickingNerds Thanks to these videos I’m a few hundred dollars more poor and now waiting patiently to improve decks I rarely play, because it’s hard to find games in Japan when your cards are all English and your Japanese is on par with a kindergartener.

How is perplexing chimera not a stax piece? Is it specifically designed to make your opponents not want to play their best spells? What do you call that if not stax?

    • @NitpickingNerds

It depends on how we design stax but I see what you mean.

Viridian reveal 17:35, so when a clue is used does it temporarily go into the graveyard and is gone because it's a token?

Yeah, when tokens are put into the graveyard they go there, then immediately cease to exist before anybody receives priority.

Hard evidence is a non-creature spell, a creature, an artifact, a body to chump, sacrifice, or prevent a good amount of damage early, two tokens and a delayed draw. It’s very good for one mana.

Please check out the wording of "Ghostly Flame"
It makes damage sources colorless without changing the cards color
