Great on so many levels.....practice skills without worrying about composition, thinking outside of the box and making something lovely to share with others! It’s a valentine win for everyone ....thanks Emma!!!
Sat down and easily followed your instructions perfectly!!! Didn't have the gold watercolor BUT, I used glitter and metallic gel pens both gold on one and then silver on another and two-wa repeat. They came out just as you showed us! Thank you for your instructions and time spent teaching us! May your family and you have a wonderful Valentine's day!!!!! ❤

In addition to making such a pretty gift, it's a great way to practice flowers and leaves loosely without getting all tied up in knots over composition and where the various elements should go. I'm looking forward to relaxing and enjoying the process!
This looks like fun. Now to get over my timidness x5 to do flowers. I also have a short window to complete this as my husband's company lost all of it's contracts due to C-19 second wave here in CA and he is home when I would try painting. Yikes. Hey Emma, I love your projects. The winter cards were great. I surprised myself that I could paint a snowman. Thank you ♥♥♥
Wonderful idea! Could use this same idea to make simple, " I Love You", "Thinking of you" , "Get Well", etc., cards as well. This idea would be great using those not so perfect painting instead of tossing them.
Such a great process! Easier than painting within the heart, which i can never get right and sort of stresses me out. This way, you don't have to think about the shape, just paint. Love it!

So pretty, the hearts would be pretty with a little gold on the edges as well. I really admire your steady hand, I really need to practice that skill. Thank you for the fun project idea and great video!
Where did you get the palette you work off of? I need something like that for every color of my paints. I also love the greeting cards; simply beautiful!
