That double sided enamel sign Rusty pulled out is off an old London Transport bus stop, well worth keeping.
Thanks so much David, I'll let him know
@PeakyDippers if he doesn't want it, ask him if I can have it...many thanks.
Lovely to be constantly reminded of how nice you all are as a group of peeps. ☺
That thin key @39:00 reminds me of a musical instrument box key that was used to hold my father's concertina. It didn't have to be robust or complicated, but just enough to keep the latch in place and instrument safe in its case.
The point & the anchor were wonderful finds today
Thanks Kim, sure was heavy but beautiful
Thankyou was heavy x
Was hopin to see that anchor on the table for closer viewing. 😅😂🤣
Awesome finds, always nice videos. ♥️👍
The arrow head is amazing!
Rusty that sign with 116 on is a bus stop E plate highly collectable and worth a few quid
Thanks Charlie
@Marie - Peaky Dippers,
I think, - well I know - I've found the song: "I found the answer in you" by Mia Niles.
Thanks for cheering me up with your videos. Always a lot of fun, informative, good filming (I'm guessing a great deal of editing) and always a great choice of music. Thank you Peaky Dippers ❤

Hey chuck ,thankyou
Love the padlock ❤
The 303 shell case was US made. WRA =Winchester Repeating Arms Co, New Haven, Connecticut, they supplied them between 1940 to 1943.
Love the finds love the enthusiasm and love the impression of Rusty “ it’s a 1950’s Nurses belt buckle Bro!” And I think he’s right.

Evening peakys and all
Hi May 🤗
Waiting
The buckle with the round bits on would have a partner with two round bits on and would intelace each other and sorry it is an elasticated belt but not a nurses belt they were filagree and made of silver, pure silver is antibacterial and does not carry germs
Have to agree, I had one for school in the ‘70s. The other side had 3 rings.
Thankyoh June x

Lucky Gerd. I have had a great time watching this. I have missed a few and needed to catch up. Life has been insane lately.
Hope alls well lise x
Yes life shoots by and one week to the next disappears x
Black item with crows foot. AM = Air Ministry. 10A might refer to 10 amps. Guessing it could be a military head set ear piece or mouth piece.
Some were stand alone & others were built into a flying helmet ?
Your all amazing x
Bless you May 🤗
The military find could be part of a radio operators headset
Great video as always brilliant finds I think rusty is right sorry Glenn take care everyone xxx 😊
Great video guys lovely arrow x
Getting the Royal Treatment - for the Royal Magnet Fishers
That anchor should be given to a museum because it is old and maybe part of some kind of history !!!
Steve and Alison now have it in their garden, the museums aren't interested in them, we've tried ti give things to the museum amd their only interested in one offs or precious metals
I am kind of surprised that they would not take it !! That's their loss a guess
❤😊
Good eye on your arrowhead crud glen
Your belt buckle is identical to one I used to have when I was at school in Staines in the 1970s
Another great video
Thankyou elev8d
sweet arrow head guys
One of the ways of determining the rough age of an old anchor is whether it has a removable shackle (for chain- newer) or a permanent 'welded' ring (for rope-older).
Thanks for the information diver Dan, we'll worth knowing
great video peakys, im not sure but the bakealight millatary peace, could be part of a head set. for communication. but the little hole on the side of it tells me perhaps a cord went through it. that is my guess lol
Rustie your breathing doesn’t sound good
He's just got over a chest infection x
Rustie don't get too tired. Advice from a frequent pneumonia sufferer.😊
A brilliant video guys with great finds ❤️❤️🤗🤗🤗💪
That thin key might have been the opener on a can
The camera was working at: 20:21
Nice find marie check ya crude hi rustiest
I had a nurses buckle like that in 1976
Thanks Julie x
❤
Hi Anna 🤗
The anchor was awesome as is the arrow head.
Were they able to remove their magnets from the engine?
What were the boat plaques for, were they for registration or something
Saw you bring out the bakelite thingy with the crowsfoot, just in case no one else mentions it, bakelite when solid is inert but if you crush it or rub it with abrasives the dust can contain asbestos, be careful. Lozells Tony
Thanks for the information Tony 👍
The buttle I mean
I think the The bakelite case is a military instrument. AM is Air Ministry. The number set on the rear is a section / ref number. 10A is the equipment, ie a radio set ,and the long number is the part number.
Thanks so much for your information philip
How old do you think the anchor and arrow head is? Thank you for sharing another awesome video. ❤️
Looks like belt buckel
The thin key could be from a jewellery box
The metal number plate looks a little like old bus number on the rotating number changer
That round black thing broard arrow mark on it looks ear peace of old fly helmet ear peace
Don't forget sun screen
👍😁
You sound a bit rough , Rusty !
AM= AIR MISTISTRY
Thanks for the information
"Modern Detritus" Glen, have you been on the alphabety spaghetti again ? 😂
The electric plug is actually the inside of a ww2 headphones
Rusty are you going to make it.
Question please... Do you live in the Peak downs district or is your last name Peak? Been wondering for quite awhile.
IV got two ww2 fly helmets that round black thing arrow mark on it is simpler two ear peace on fly helmets I got
item at 18.56 is an oil can
Cheers gavin
Julius Caesar couldn’t handle the natives the first time around and had to leave. The Romans did their homework though and conquered the Celtic tribes on the next attempts under Claudius and Vespasian.
Is Alison, Rusty’s wife. ???????
Why do you English people all say or call all tools , spanners ? Isn't that just a reference to a 🔧 wrench?
Because we don't say wrench lol.
No its just the way we are used to daying things
You all did a great job on cleaning up the water 💦 ways. I wondered if you might have a 1944 boat marker that I can get from you guys?💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷💙💙💙💙
