I learned to knit when I was twelve---my grandma taught me and I did it on and off over the years. I switched to crochet for a while, but after her death I picked it back up again. I really love it. I'm learning to do shaped pieces (like the frog) and making my own patterns! It's my go-to when I need a chill craft.

Great video.. I see some things that I errored in, that you showed.. Glad to see someone else does that, LOL. LOVE Ripley, thank you for showing her. On the sweater, from here, it looks like you did a pattern across the mid-chest. Looks pretty cool from here. It's a bit big but, very cozy looking. Love the next one that fits better, so beautiful. Love Picot and the remaining garments. you do beautiful work. love,hugs,prayers.

To weave the tiny end, try putting the needle in as if to weave and once placed, thread it and pull through.
amazing pieces! such wardrobe staples. Also love to hear that you are thinking about size inclusivity, its very refreshing. i'm a new subscriber and its great to have long vids like this one to just chill out and knit along to. i didn't have a good knit year in 2022, i spent a long time on one piece for me to hate it when i finished. i was devasted, a lot of money and time wasted :(
Thank you so much! I'm sorry to hear that, it's terrible when something doesn't turn out the way you hoped (I have several projects I frogged last year because they were not at all what I thought they would be). I hope that 2023 brings you more joy and happiness from your knitting!!!
This hour and forty minutes took me through an extremely tedious v-neck foldover bind off of 144 stitches and made it a grand time!!! All your projects are so inspiring and I always love your energy. Say hi to PICOT for me!

As for your cream top with the tiny bit to weave in use a small crochet hook to grab it through the loops you wanna hide it under individually it takes longer than weaving with a needle but work really well for ends that are too short for a needle

Wow, you have done amazingly well for your first year of knitting!!, you would think you’d been knitting for years, well done. Love your sweaters. I really like the Sophie shawl as a head scarf, it suits you like that much better than the balaclava in my opinion, it looks more sophisticated.
