I have the basic Airacuda, I really like it, however my check valve was leaking several hours into using the gun. I was really worried I'd have to send it back to get fixed. Then I saw this video, thanks so much! I've actually reduced the valve spring tension and repaired my reservoir check valve thanks to these videos. My valve spring tension was at max from the factory, could not get the tune I wanted with the hammer spring adjustment. Thought I needed a stronger hammer spring, but no its super simple to detention the valve spring and use the existing hammer spring.
A side note on the check valve adjust. Its very finicky, if you press the tiny oring into the surface of the air chamber at all it will not work. The high pressure fill air will push a section of the oring out of the way to fill the chamber, the oring will now be trapped by the cone shaped screw and the oring will not be able to reseal against the air chamber seating surface. When you remove the air source, you'll hear it escaping from the foster fitting. I got it to work by screwing it in till I could just fell the oring compress, then I back it off half a turn.
    Thanks again

I just ordered a standard model in 22 cal.... now the waiting game. 🤪
But it's great to know video's such as this one are out there! I wouldn't be able to do that with gloves on though, lol. 😉

Yes! Thank you for making this video capable of saving to a playlist! I watched the regulator repair and reseal video last night. Very well done and informative. I can't wait to buy one of these Rifles when they fully hit the market! With your videos, everyone can confidently own one.

So I've been using my Airacuda Max .22 for about a month, and the foster fitting began to intermittently leak. I emailed JTS customer support about if this is a repairable problem, and haven't heard a peep back from them. The last time I tried to charge the rifle, when I depressurized the charging hose, it dumped both rifle reservoirs and ejected the regulator body from the center threaded plug. Not very impressed with the one-way valve design, just a friction-fit screw holding an o-ring. Also when I disassembled the rifle, there was a 3d printed part fit between the stock and the receiver/action. With only one bolt holding the rifle to the stock, and that pressing on a PLA part, I'm not super impressed with the build quality here.

Thanks for the great video... The JTS manual says nothing about the extra seals... You took care of that question... A question: After how much time/use did you have to replace the seals? Thx...

The gun in the video is a pre Production gun, made in 2021. These were for testers across the country to find any shortcomings, or things that needed attention before final production began.
At the time I disassembled the gun for the video it was still holding air, and shooting, but one of the internal regulator orings had failed.

Nope I shot mine down to 2000 psi and went to fill it back up and it just dumps the air so looks like I have to try my hand at this tonight and see if it straightens it out 😳 I did order a Macavity arms MA2 in .30 long barrel it’ll be here Wednesday just in case I don’t get the JTS back in order…. I really like the gun too until that… is 3 months of use really enough to need to repair that check valve already?….. I was hoping not to have to take it apart for at least 6 months to a year 😢

Mine was leaking this morning thank goodness I just needed to tighten the outside nut on the nipple… I have a dumb question… how could it have came loose? And also what is the average lifespan for a pcp before it needs to be rebuilt and what would be considered way too soon like every 6 months?…. A year? Or are these things that could commonly just fail any given day?

How do you remove that white nylon washer at the foster fitting?

I used a small metal hook from harbor freight.
It’s meant to remove orings. And cost about $5 for 4 different hooks.
