“Every little detail coming back to play a role” is one of the biggest things in Hilda. Especially in season 2, everything just fits so perfectly together.
The random Swedish librarian always throws me off.
I really like this episode! Also a fun fact: maras are present in ukrainian (well in slavic overall) mythology though we do pronounce them with the stress on the last syllable instead of first
- Just to be clear, the Marra are spirits, but probably not ghosts...
- It's not explicit, but I'm pretty sure librarian isn't a teen. I figure she's in her 20s at least.
-Apparently 'rat-kings' do happen from time to time and, sadly, often have to be euthanized...

Ohhh, I think the Marra could fit in well with the Spiral, Spiral statements often have a dream-like quality to them, not to mention the Coffee episode. Maybe a bit of Eye, tho? Since the Marra is literally there watching the whole misery.
And the Rat King is great, we love the big jangle of rodents.

Since u enjoy getting comments abt people discovering ur channel, I discovered ur channel not long after ur reaction to Hilda s1ep8 came out. I am a huge fan of the show who just finished watching it and is hungry for Hilda content. And ur reactions r great. The only thing I can't figure out is if u r catching onto the big themes and story of this season and the show as a whole. But that's a topic for another time. I love how this episode handled the continuous thread of Hilda moving to a new environment. Last episode she found out she may not be adjusting as well as she thinks, and though that episode ended happily, I think it carried over to here. I think she wasn't really scared of the bike, but rather of not fitting in, not adjusting. And we can see that in the very beginning of the nightmare, where Frida and David say "we don't ride wuffs, we ride bikes". And I also like how Hilda hasn't conquered her nightmare. She may no longer be afraid of bikes, but the overall issue of her feeling like she doesn't fit in is still very much here. Thank u for ur reaction!

I have listened to all of Magnus Archives, I loved! I have not heard Magnus Protocol, is that a sort of sequel series? I'm unaware of its existence.
@@heytallman It takes place in a parallel universe of the magnus archives. It's made by the same people and is uploaded as new episodes to the magnus archives. You should absolutely listen to it! It's currently on episode 15.
