I would put it up against most Trump mixers just for the fact that you don't have to move the concrete twice. We did approximately 42 bags in a little over an hour once everything was set up.

This video is absolutely 100% what I was looking for. You and your wife did a hell of a job. I have to pour 2 pallets plus a few additional 80lb bags and I am renting the mud mixer. I will be the loader and my wife will be pushing and pulling the concrete around. What setting did you use for water? I setup my scaffolds on wheels and made a bench on wheels so the bags will be no lower than waist high for transfer to the mud mixer. Definitely a back saver for a guy over 50 (me)

I've been watching every Mud Mixer video I can find for the last year or so - so I was happy to see someone on a channel I was already subscribed to using one. Nice job! I'd like to see some details on your water tank and pump setup. Maybe a short video on that?? I'm planning on renting a Mud Mixer this summer to pour a slab for a large shed. We're on a well and our water pressure fluctuates some, not to mention, I'd rather have a few hundred gallons on hand in a tank versus worrying about drawing down the well (although we've never had a problem) during the pour. How much water did you end up using on that slab? Looking forward to seeing more of your projects using the Mud Mixer!!

I will say when video I've seen on this thing when they first start they use the attached garden hose to wet down the actual corkscrew that pushes the concrete out. That way it doesn't catch.

I have only mixed type s mortar in mine so far but I have noticed that sometimes I get a void where the dry mix doesnt fall all he way down to the auger and that causes excess water to pool up in the shoot then when itstarts going again you get a really wet mix. I end up poking it down with a 5 gallon paint stick. Im almost thinking it could use a small vibrator mounted on the hopper to vibrate the mix down faster and more consistently. Anyone else experience that? Im still happy so far but feel like that could make it great.

@@nobreighner I added a 110v vibrator and poured about 3-4 yards with zero issues of consistency once I had it dialed in for those getting consistency issues its either the dry mix getting plugged or not falling consistently into the auger or a water supply issue.
