I got a new way to do it, I add 1 table spoon flaxseed powder with some water and microwave it 30 sec, then use that to kneed ragi or jwar flour. Since flaxseed make gel when heated with water, it will make a really good dough..and roti will be soft and fula fula🙂

I just came across your channel and I am learning a new way of using Ragi Flour. Ragi is widely eaten in Uganda, Kenya and Southern Sudan. But we don't make Ragi Rotis. We add Ragi Flour in Boiling water, mix with flat wooden spoon, simmer it for 5 mins and then enjoy it with any Stew or Sauce. It's delicious👍🏼

Thank you. I tried it for the first time and came out very nice...that too I had to make about 30! Only, rolling and taking it off the board /counter felt difficult..so I used a thick plastic sheet on which I rolled the chapati..this way was able to take up the sheet and easily place the chapati on the hand and then on to the tawa. Thought I'd share this tip!
