Green tea EGCG anti inflammatory also creates L- theanine antiflam. 5 cups/ day may reduce inflammation by half! Also green tea is anti-angiogenic helps prevent swelling in joints.
Thank you Dr. Lee! I suffer from osteoarthritis 😢 and it’s not easy to have sore hands, wrists, neck and lower back everyday- but I really try to eat healthy Whole Foods and exercise ☺️ I will definitely add more of the foods you listed here! Thank you 🙏
Is there a type/ brand of green tea and matcha that we should be using. I’m worried some might not be as strong or good for me. I’ve just had a full mastectomy due to breast cancer diagnosis and have been told by a geneticist that I’m at risk of stomach, pancreatic and ovarian cancer. Have cut out red meat and dairy, had already cut processed foods, processed carbs and most sugars. I enjoy green tea already and have 2 apples a day, citrus, berries and also lots of leafy greens, legumes and veges.

Yes people like myself with IBS can’t handle beans and cruciferous vegetables. I can eat broccoli florets and sprouts though, so that’s what I do. Instead of eating beans I eat tree nuts. Luckily I am not allergic to them! And a handful of nuts doesn’t seem to bother my stomach.

@@kellyweinheimer342 Kelly - My favorite is a glass jar; mason jar size quart. ■ There are plastic strain tops designed for sprouting that fit the large mouth/lid jars; these tops may help in rinse daily. @@kellyweinheimer342 Kelly - You are welcome!! ■ Rainbow Heirloom Seed site has excellent selection and practical growing methods! I have used their seeds for years and now on my 2nd pound. Cook lightly. I use aroma as a guide. As soon as you start to get slight aroma rising from the food when you're standing near the pot, it's time to remove from heat. Food should still be firm and chewy not mush.

We stir fry first, then add a little water and cover for one or two minutes. Remove lid. Water should be evaporated away and add oyster sauce .
