Minister's dreams dashed for Jamestown Mall

David E. Taylor, who runs a ministry called Joshua Media Ministries International based near St. Louis, claims he has regular contact with God. He said God told him to build an arena for the ministry with 80,000 to 100,000 seats. Taylor wanted to buy the old Jamestown Mall and says he had an agreement in place to buy the Macy’s for $1 million, but that St. Louis County officials misled him. The county filed suit last week to acquire the mall through condemnation proceedings in St. Louis County Circuit Court.
