  • Ok, here it is! The video most of you have been waiting for...factory front turn signal flashers! This is actually SUPER easy, doesn't take much time and best part...it's inexpensive! All you will need is the factory turn signal switch ($16.20), a 3 prong LED flasher, flathead screwdriver, some connectors and wire! The factory white led running lights will change to amber and flash, if you follow these instructions. It gives it such a cool element, that ultimately will keep you safe! #cfmoto #zforce950sport #cfmotoz950sport

    I wired in the front turn signals the other day your step by step video made it easy to do, thank you for putting that together. I bought some lights off Amazon for the rear signals and will wire those into the switch. I'm being lazy I didn't want to take the back end apart. The videos are great I know I will be using a lot more of them. CF Moto baby!!!

    Great video...I did mine with stick-on led strips to the bumpers front and rear - ran all the wiring too...I just couldnt figure out if the lights had the blinker ability...Since the Canadian version 950s had blinkers stock on their units I kept thinking the US models had to have a way to do that as it would be stupid for cfmoto to make 2 versions of the lights...front and rear...that leads me to believe that there is a way to get the rears to work and I will be watching for sure to see if you make headway with that...TY for this as I will convert mine like yours now...I had been hoping that cfmoto had plug and play harnesses for this but they told me to talk to the dealer for installation and that wasnt going to be an affordable option...I know the rear license light you can order and the plug is up under the rear as well as the trailer harness pigtail...just didnt see a blinker harness...there is an insert in the plugs that you have to remove to plug the license light and trailer harness in...fyi..and they are sorta hard to reach without removing the rear rack, but doable...

    Going to look more into the tail lights this weekend. From what everyone is saying and based on the service manual the wire or plug has to be there. If you look at the tail light were the brake lights are there are 6-7 leds across the whole light. Service manual says half are brake and other half turn. So that wire is there. Hopefully just capped and inaide the housing on US models.

  • @steves3688
    @steves3688 Před 3 lety

    Hello Justin...so I reviewed the drivers side headlight wire harness at the plug connection and I see the wire you tapped into for the blinker changes color as it passes thru the connector plug. I kept thinking that there would be an optional plug on the side by side to hook the blinkers up without splicing. So with your helpful dash removal info I looked really hard in the dash for any unused connectors. I found a small 2 wire open plug in there but dont really know what its for and later I will review further. BUT there is an entire harness head, the big numerous wire connector - main harness, that is unconnected in there and it seems to be an optional one that plugs into the large plug connector that already has a major harness connected to it...it makes me think that its an optional harness that might activate a different wiring scheme...especially since canadian models have all the blinkers, trailer wires and reverse lights installed already....didnt have a lot of time to devote to it but will really dig into it later...I was also trying to see if there is a location in the dash area to splice the wire for the blinker so more protected from elements.....and why I think there are optional plugs is when I look up the parts diagram for the electrical it only shows 1 main wiring harness for sale and its has the blinkers included in it...its wired with all the canadian options...

    Hi Justin, Did I understand correctly, your located in Hoosier Land? Whereabouts? I'm a displace Hoosier located in Kingman AZ. Just bought a couple of months ago a 2021 Zforce 950 sport. Wanted a 22 but no one out here in the west expected to get newer models until June and I got tired of waiting. The dealer had one 950 Sport left so I bought it. I thought the machine had everything I would need, however I missed a couple of things. 1, being a license plate light, 2 was no turn signals. The dealer here wanted $210 for a kit and $350 to install. So I decided to put turn signals just on the back as this is a small town mostly old retired folks like myself. The lights just have to be bright as most have bad eyesight and hand signals won't keep one from getting ass ended. I was wandering what year your 950 is and if mine has the same capability as yours. I have my signal lights mounted and working perfectly, si if mine are the same I can easily join them to the rear. Thank you for showing this video. I also did not know how to get into that dash panel of switch's. You are my God send on that one. Thanks.
