I bought the boss brt26 , looks like it's the same thing. I took my roof off to make it really easy to install. Sounds good, I'd like a little bass but plenty loud.
Yes that is the one downfall. The bass not so much, However i do believe that if you hard wire it the Planet audio does sell amps and such to power a larger bass speaker. The question is, where would i put the bass, maybe under the dashboard, no doors to mount them to. I guess if one is good at customizing, this is a great "budget" way to go deeper into sound. Great sound. Look good. You said that this also fit your Uforce right.
yes it also fit on the uforce 1000. the only thing with the uforce 1000 and this speaker, you will need to unscrew the back two screws of the roof. not a huge deal. easy as pie. and it will make the plastic just under the roof lip ( back side) stick out a little bit depending on how you want to angle it. wish i had a pic to show you. but does it fit? yes, does it fit perfectly? yes if you don't plan on putting a back window on.
Put one on my zforce 500 two weeks ago.
not a bad unit for the price. wish it had more base, I find it perfect for when I am stopped hanging with the boys and having it on in the background. :)
