I've had 4 cameras for a half a year & I think that the battery strength percentage & the used & available space on the SD cards are a gimmick that do not really work.
Like the xray glasses that they used to sell in comic books back when.
Do you get complaints about the battery strength showing up on the app?

On this camera to set up 12volt extra battery does it work with the inside battery pk install or just 12 volt only ,can you delete all pictures at once.or a hole date at a time.
What I understand the external power supply is the primary driver, the AA battery pack is a backup. Have to select the 12v source in the settings to make it work like this.

can you add an additional phone to use the app for the same cameras? IE I want to be able to see our farm photos, as well as my husband on each phone.
Yes you can just log into your account that you have to set up when you activate the camera.
just purchased one today and all it does is give me a orange light takes pictures on the sd card but doesn't send them to my phone.

Mine did not work new out of the box. Had to get my wife to do the new firmware and install it in the camera. Now works great. Kinda disappointed that it had to be done as soon as I bought it.
Maybe this is my issue, for some reason my cam takes pics for the first 10 to 20 then stops

I have an etremely important question! I am using the free plan for 100 photes per month what is the best settings for that in the app to not use as much photes but still see what comes in?? PLEASE RESPOND!!
It just depends on what you're monitoring as to what the level of sensitivity you might choose. You also want to make sure other moving objects (limbs, vehicles, etc) don't trigger your camera. Additionally, if you're only interested in a particular time of day or night, say sunset to sun rise, then you might limit the camera to operate only between the hours of 5pm - 6am, etc. That can save not only a bunch of wasted pictures but greatly extend battery life. Hope this helps.

I just bought one and it only puts pictures on the card. No matter where I have it it will not send to my app. Hopefully I can return it!

That’s a setting on your phone. Nothing to do with the camera
By the time of the day in the settings, there's a number from 00 to 59, I'm scouring the web trying to find an answer on what exactly that does
By default it was like at 48 or something, I just said it to 00 thinking that's like once an hour or something, but I'm not sure what that number does
I'm not even going to delete this thread, I just realized how stupid I was... Never mind, it means like 9:48 or 9:30, I'm dumb as hell, for some reason I was thinking it would send every however many minutes after that hour I don't know what I was thinking....

Yes. Each camera has its own plan even though multiple cameras can share a common SpyPoint app. And each plan includes the 100 monthly free option.
I have a cellcom phone can they still work

I just purchased 2 & it seems like the cameras pick up the strongest cell tower signal where ever you are.
I'm activating my 2 tomorrow and any advice or solutions to problems that you ran into would be appreciated.

No you can have any phone only the camera is Verizon

I'm using it on my property when I'm not home so I'm going to start with the free package if they still offer it.
@@GiosSimCorner I updated my firmware but I did the short format on my sd cards and I'm having pix sent to my phone, but nothing is being sent to the sd cards.
I'll figure that out this weekend before I get my new purchases: another twin pack of cameras, 3 / 12 volt adapters and a Cell Link to turn an old regular trail camera into a cellular cam.
Have you ever used electricity to power your cameras?
Your not supposed to put the sim card in till its formatted...format tour card FIRST...or itll just piss you off...read the reviews

Every brand & style of trail camera has the best & the worst reviews.

Enjoyed info but you were going too fast. Also, couldn't see things you were pointing to, went too fast.

I am having major issues (NOT WORKING) with this SPYPOINT trail camera. I will NEVER buy another camera from SPYPOINT. Do NOT buy the brand of camera.
If you’re having trouble with SPYPOINT don’t but any Cellular trail camera because we selling them in our store. I promise you They All Have Issues. My advice just stick to the regular cameras
