This video shows me failing to install the towbar electrics on my 2012 Citroen C3 Picasso.
I was aware of maybe needing a box of tricks before starting the job, but i thought i would give it a go to see if it would work going old school. I can report back that you definitely need a box of tricks to install the trailer socket successfully.
My indicators started flashing fast and the brake lights were playing up aswell. Unplug the trailer board and all works well.
Hopefully if you're researching doing this job then you know just to install a box to start with.
