- In this episode of The Hustler's Corner, Mpho shares with us about his upbringing, acting career, and what he believes his purpose is.
Mpho Sebeng is an international multi-award-winning actor and entertainer. He has performed on the biggest telenovelas, films, and series such as The Estate, The Queen, Rhythm City, The Throne, and Scandal. He has also been on Netflix shows such as Savage Beauty and Miseducation.
Ring of Lies was Mpho’s first major lead role on prime-time television, his performance was one for the books as it went as far as earning him a nomination for the 2018 South African Film & Television Awards for “Best Male Actor” in a telenovela. Mpho is now a household name in the South African Film and television industry, he is constantly looking for a challenge and is ready to swim with the big fish in Hollywood and solidify his place in the acting world.

You still have a purpose on earth. That's why you lived , his time was up , and I believe that's one thing about God He also protects you to show you , life could have swallowed you.

"I had the pleasure of getting to know Mpho during our time at Horizon View and West Ridge High School, the same class from grades 1 to 12. We've known each other for 26 years, and I still remember the short guy who always made a statement. Even though we came from the same neighbourhood, Mpho always carried himself with a smile and a willingness to take on any challenge.
It's been devastating to learn of his passing. I still find it hard to believe that he's gone. However, I take comfort in knowing he's now in a better place. He was a person who always brought joy and kindness to those around him, and now he can do the same for the angels in heaven. Nevertheless, his loss is deeply felt among those who knew him, and our community has lost a remarkable individual."
