How beautiful is this custom Brooklyn Loft?! Comment down below if you would like to see more unique listings like this one!
YES
Why you don't want to have kids?
Yes!
Totally
More of NYC, like Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island and Bronx or even New Jersey, across the river!
This is where struggling actors who have a job waiting tables live in sitcoms
sooo Joey tribbiani? XD
So true.
I was getting those vibes as well
Lol
Hooow you doin ... 😏
Blair Waldorf would call the person who lived here poor
I was thinking about that the whole time! The Humphreys are considered poor while living in a Loft most of us can only dream of hahaha
@@SaikolaM irony of TV vs reality lol
i would too
I choked this is the best comment ❤️😂
that's definitely true tho
You really sold me when you opened up that WINDOW to let the natural sunlight in the room 5:50
Like if he didn’t open it the sunlight wouldn’t come through 😂
🤦♂️
i was expecting something grand before that moment in the video came, and then just burst into laughter
That rusty handrail really makes you feel safe, also i could not wait t go out and have a toast there with all my... oh wait you can only fit a skinny person in there because of the space and also the risk of that "terrace" coming apart!
Did you not know that if you don't open windows light cant get through?
More New York City
If your hands are already full how would you grab the spices?
GO BRUINS this is what I was thinking!!
Of course he means if he opens the slide full hands in order to put them back to where they are
With ur mouth
GO BRUINS to put spices back in there
with yo buttcheeks!
I know it's meant to look like that, but that sink section in kitchen just feels nasty with all those exposed pipes underneath.
yeah it's literally the only thing I disliked about this apartment
You can always get parts you don’t like refurbished.
Exactly. The fridge and the cabinets are awesome and cool, but then the sink threw me off completely. What a joke to such a beautiful and organized kitchen.
right so not luxurious
I think people still live there and it might just be some mess they left over.
If I had 4 million to spend on a living space, this wouldn’t be it.
Exactly
Exactly
Exactly
Exactly
Exactly
Anyone else notice that the dining table “light fixture” was literally a single light bulb on a cord?! 😂
Malvin Torrens it’s custom
its was dope though, hahaha i would love that, he really sold the whole mixture of luxury and industrial feel
omg XD
Yeah but it’s awsome
It’s custom to them, meaning it’s not the original
I could live in that kitchen alone
Good
Ohh come on man
SAME, that kitchen is set up for people who like to THROW DOWN in the kitchen. So funcitonal
I love your display name, krispyshorts is a heck of a lot
Cool but looks like I could live in the fridge
The living room is AMAZING but the rest of the house makes me feel so claustrophobic and trapped.
Eloise Kelly then don’t live in NY
Agree! (and I live in NYC lol)
lol come in Paris
I actually LIKED that about it, but then again, I’m an introvert that loves hiding in small spaces 🤷♀️
Ikr
Idek why but I feel like the layout wasn’t very well done
yup, I agree with you
The details bothered me, not like I could ever afford it anyway:P but like the shower head in the master suite looked way low, walk in closet door looked mad skinny. Idk
Max Spettmann ya. The word that came to my mind at first was “ discombobulated “ lol
I cannot agree more.
C I AGREED. POORLY MADE. DON’T LIKE THE LAYOUT NOR THE FLOORS.
at 5:57 where he opened the window to the let the sunlight in 😂 dude it’s clear glass
Erik would totally not fit under that shower head 🤣
Tall guy problems
I'm 6'6 and as soon as I saw that it was a no for me not even if they paid me to live there lmao
Erik: uploads New York appartment tour
Erik in every video: it has the best view in all of New York
If you haven't checked out this channel you are missing out many things
Normally I love the apartments and houses that you showcase, and I normally never leave comments... but this apartment just doesn’t feel finished - especially for the asking price.
I get it’s Brooklyn, but I mean, yikes. It looks cold and it looks like it’s still going through construction work.
Ben Ellis welcome to nyc
I get your point, but that's the deal with an industrial design.
Ben Ellis i would live there even if they paid me 10 billion
The kitchen sink man...
@Ben Ellis FIrst time I commented on this channel and agree with your comments!
definitely the coziest place you've shown on your channel thus far! would love to see more Brooklyn homes as well as a luxury apartment in Queens!
“Custom light fixture above the dining room table adds to the industrial feel of the room”
Literally a light bulb on a wire
*When did he say that apartment giveaway was again?*
😂😂 righttt
🤣🤣🤣
Take a shot every time he says “industrial”
And a blunt each time he says "costum"
😂😂
Custom (customized), industrial, bohemian, let light in, luxury, tights together, sustainable, high end, (countertop used for no reason), intimate feeling, cozy, grand, oversized. This meaningless terms are why architects can't stand realtors
Honestly for someone who’s always wanted to live in New York this is exactly what I’ve always imagined if I got rich and wanted to buy a loft in NY I absolutely love this !!!!
Me too
I love how you show us such a wide variety of property styles. I’ve actually learned a great deal about modern design from this channel.
ps: The way the architect incorporated windows into the 2nd floor bedroom wall is quite brilliant.
3 years since this video was posted, I still come back for my dose of inspiration. One day I will buy a loft like this.
Same here i alwys come back to this specific one. It’s a vibe like no other. Keep on Dreamin👊 we got this
or build :3
same vibes here bro. grind all day.@@massiveconn5409
Just watching so many videos on new york apartments/lofts and it's just making me so much more motivated to work toward being able to live off doing something i love and that will someday make me financially stable enough to move into a place like this. Maybe not this big, but a large loft is definitely a dream place to live. Gonna update yall in the future to see where I am in life 🥴
Now this is what living to the fullest looks like. The place looks astounding.
I just saw you on the vice video, wth you're the new Justin Y now?
@@justinhearst He's really everywhere 😂
Thanks Erik for this one! Very well put together presentation. You are getting better each time. I can feel your passion for real estate. Keep grinding. Oh and...great apartment! 😄
Damn that shower was low 😂💀
Love it
This is amazing... Keep them coming brother.
You should definitely do more New York Apartment tours and Penthouses Erik., so yes MORE NEW YORK CITY please
This one is my favorite !!
More New York city.
It's just amazing how much content you can put in such a short video! Awesome!
Faaaaaaaaark I love this place. Thank you for finally an apartment with personality, and not just for show.
More loft please 😍😍😍😍 I just love industrial looks 😆😆😆
Geez. This is astounding. So gorgeous!
I’m glad you made a video of a home in Brooklyn!! Makes it feel more personal. Would you do more in other boroughs? That would be cool 😎
More unique apartments like this please!
The living room is gorgeous, and that’s it
Amazing video Erik! It’s obvious that you put a lot of time and effort in these videos, would definitely want to see more tours!
Thank you for taking the time to comment 👊🏼
More NYC apartments , thanks Erik !
Great tour, amazing space! Would love to see more lofts!
If you haven't checked out this channel you are missing out crazy things
I love how you promote all that "Natural Sunlight" in the bedrooms and than people pay me $$$ to hide and block that "Natural Sunlight" as a Professional Window Treatment Installer. I appreciate you sir! You get a Like from me Sincerely.
One of my favorites. Thank you for sharing!
So nice!!
More apartment tours..
The ceiling brings back memories... I dated a girl for a bit who lived in a semi-legal loft in Williamsburg in 2001 and the ceiling looked like that although there were some big hooks on rails left over. The windows were ten feet off the ground and ran the whole length of the space, but all but one were rusted shut, including the one that accessed the fire escape. Her roommates had built stairs and a little rickety deck so you could get up to the open window and actually see out across the river. They were on the 6th floor and close to the river so the views were good. It was unbearably hot in there in the summertime though, and I could not sleep when I stayed over, so I set about to fix all the windows to accommodate the breeze, and rebuilt and expanded the deck with stuff I "found" at a nearby construction site. The roommates were DJ's and hosted a lot of parties that lasted all night. I will never forget lounging on that deck afterwards watching the reflection of the sunrise on all the skyscrapers across the river. Eventually it would hit the water and make a million sparkles, which you could also faintly see reflected on all the buildings and the bridge. It was really beautiful. Those were some great times.
i love that industrial look. great tour
That NYC apartment is gorgeous! I love the custom design and layout. Great video! 😄
This is sooo incredibly beautiful omg I WISH I could afford this it looks so so so comfortable
I love this!I can imagine myself there!⭐💓
This channel is really underrated!
Love your videos good sir!
Looks like industrial design, but it feels warm, cozy! beautiful place!
Erik: "Custom light fixture"
Me: A light bulb
Yeah i thought it was funny too💀💀
I seem to be the only person in the comments that really loves this apartment. All the natural woods are so nice
This is the first one that I would buy. Love it!!
I love this property!! And the exposed concrete , mixing new and "old" details
Drinking game: when Erik says industrial
More NY City FOR SURE ☺️
nice to see you back ..
of all the houses toured so far, i must say this is my pick of the bunch.
I dont know why am I watching this ?...I have exactly 40$ in my account.
$40! Why you gotta brag man?
@@allme2547 😂😂 Sorry man
Boy, you're rich. I have like $-3
@@camilafavatier1923 lol... Nice one😂...I wish you earn much more this year.
Buy a lottery ticket
2:35 if your hands are full how are you going to pick it up
Okkkk this became my fav series i love it!!
More NYC. Love your videos
More New York City!
“custom”, the most overused word to describe this apartment.
Custom
@@erikvanconover Not very 'unique' of you. Almost sounds a bit 'industrial'.
My doors arent broken they are just costum made to not close all the way
@@rareantarcticbear8917 🤣you cracked me
Beautiful! I love the combo of old and new, industrial and homy
I loved this one
Hmm? $4m for an apartment and the kitchen opens directly to a toilet! No thank you friend.
a lot of kitchens have toilets attached to them bro
This is a great deal! You clearly have no idea of NYC prices
That's normal
I am fully aware, even in the Uk that many apartments have toilets directly attached to them. This however is a beautifully designed apartment costing $4m! When Eric is extolling the virtues of the custom designed kitchen the door is open giving a clear view of a toilet! How is that view edifying or hygienic? With so much thought and design execution given to this apartment, my issue is why wasn’t some thought given to this ‘problem?’ The powder room appears to be large enough to accommodate a different point of entry? In smaller apartments, I understand this may be unavoidable, but not , I submit in a state of the art $4m apartment.
To Corbin, although I live in the Uk, I do understand the price structures for property which are unique to New York. My issue is not about the price. It is about a design faux par which should have been picked up.
$4m is nothing in nyc
Wow! This is one of my favorite apartments you've ever toured for us! Keep up the amazing content, Erik!
Holy moly awesome
Eric. Your tours are simply awesome
you talking about the apartment alone has me sold lol
i can't stop watching this Loft. I love this joint.
Love this one
"luxury and industry blending into one" - feels more like a unfinished apartment.
I'll take it. Just give me 10 years to get the money.
In ten years it'll be like 7/8 million dollars
@@alejandrotome541 why?
How will you get the bag?
So...you will be eating dollar ramen and using old paper bags for toilet paper everyday, for the next 10 years?
definitely my favorite apartment so far!
Love your video ✨✨👍
More New York City 😍👌
Everyone of these are one of a kind
!!!!More New York City!!! A Super-follower here, all the way from Greece!
Why do I feel that he's struggling to sell this particular place? It's nice, and I agree that $4 million is a reasonable price for the place, but it's kind of basic?
lol 4million for that dump? no thank you
zurkturk it’s not a dump, but definitely not worth 4mil.
4 million is not at all a reasonable price... Its not even in manhattan and its in an ugly ass building... And yes, it is REALLY basic. 1 million at best.
@@guiT39 Brooklyn is as hot as Manhattan is nowadays.
@@jacob9673 2.5 to 3 million at most.
Good job Erik.
woooowwww love it!!
As if I wasn't jealous enough😂😂
I don't really get why people like high ceilings. Most of the space above your head is not usable space, so you're kinda paying for air.
When you get to a certain price point, you don't care about maximum efficiency as much as maximum feeling
This one, @Erik, is just AMAZING ! More affordable than others, MORE NEW YORK APPARTMENT !
This house is so awesome!!!
There’s no way I’m paying $4million for this, $1.5m take or live it.
at 1.5 you're getting ripped brother!
1 million at best
I find it funny that you can buy a 5 bedroom 5 1/2 bath home with a huge yard for 200k in the town I live in. 200,000 gets you nothing in NYC.
The apartment itself probably isnt worth more than 500 grand
RareAntarcticBear It’s the area..but yeah I agree 100%..
“Custom” seems to be the new buzzword in the US. You guys don’t normally get to decide how your apartment looks or?
They mean the layout and features. Normally when you go in an apartment you don't get to decide what the cabinets are made of, nor the layout of the floor plan, etc. Those have been decided already
more NYC!!
MORE NEW YORK CITY WOOOOOO!!!
Do a tour of the BRONX or Queens hell Staten Island leave. Brooklyn alone we're already over crowded here lol...
I am going to live here soon I just know it. I am speaking it into existence!!!!! 🤞🏾
It's a fantastic loft, what a beautiful design... but I think it's out of my budget, it got a lot of ideas!!! Thank you very much!!!
i love this one the most
why is no one talking about the fact that he would hit his head on the showerhead?
This is, definitely, one of my favorite so far.
The only thing I didn't like was that bench at the dining table but, man, everything else was amazing, starting from that industrial look.
I love this space. Wow
