Hope the treatment works for your koi as well as the treatment my 83 year old mom has had in hospital and her operation to fit a valve was today and it's gone well so well she's being discharged on Thursday so thank your mother the rabbits 😊 👍

How gutting to get that in your pond had a similar problem few years back when i had sone fish off someone closing there pond down got that exact same treatment managed to save a few but did have some that did pass. Probably my fault as didnt catch it on time. Hope all yours get better as your fish are cracking. Good luck mate 👍
Hi James, Not judging but i was thinking with you. As an aquarist for 10 years i have some/little experience in fish /breeding. What i learned is when i have new fish i always quarantaine my fish. Had my show piece tank with 250 cardinal tetras put a new angelfish in the tank everything was dead in 4 days internal parasite. In my experience you have the fish in your tank and put in New fish that you have cross contamination and than if you have some ""weaker"" fish it has always problems. This is my experience on have aquariums and dont know if this also with koi keeping. So hope you have something about my information and its NOT to judge you, now and then we all have some problems with our ponds/aquariums. I've had fish from there and they have been awesome I scrape before I add them and nothing the filters in this place are kept outside so the ponds are low in temperature trust me if you was there you would see the quality and how they keep they're fish are good.
I bought fish august time from here and my fish started dying and found costia. When I was there tho fish was flashing and they said its because of the new filters but I can see from your video the fish r still flashing there. Im not slagging them off as I think the people are lovely and I will be buying more from here once I set up quarantine pond.
It’s a simple tip of the balance in you’re pond James. Doesn’t necessarily mean the new koi came with parasites. Adding any new koi is a trigger factor and just slightly alters the natural balance the pond has, whereby all the koi currently in the pond are at one with each other and their environment and all of a sudden that balance and environment changes and therefore that’s the trigger factor. Ying and Yang as they say. You’re right about getting on top of the costia though, as they can lead to secondary problems later down the line. Hope you get it sorted buddy. I must say i do rate Kusuri they do some great stuff. I actually used the fmg premix last year for costia. And clean scrapes after the 2nd dose. I think their premix is one of the stronger ones on the market though. Hopefully you get on top of it before spring really wakes the pond up. As you know never get it on anything especially your hands. Otherwise, it will look like you've been interfering with a smurf for a week😂

I cant say that but these things happen now and then but it could of allready been in my pond ? But Dave very kindly is helping me out with treatments ect But it’s part the reason all new koi should be quarantined instead of going straight into the main ponds tbh

If the fish was flashing they shouldn't off been released to you they need to be 100% healthy no sign off anythink going on,not good customer service

Just a inline heater very expensive to run being 3kw but worth it when things like this happen
