Plants look great mate, however, those Rhododendhams need an ericaceous (acid) soil or they will very quickly develop yellowing leaves. The rest of them are fine in their likley alkaline soil 👍

@@JamesTHEKOIwhisperer123 something like ericaceous feed by miracle gro will help but id definitely add some ericaceous soil all around the root balls. Its only about a fiver from any of the diy shops
James... The range has those exact same water barrels for £28. I'm using them ones for my grow-on. Know it ain't much of a saving, but every £ off helps the budget.

Just a quick question mate how many blocks you laid in just wondering if I should do my pond build out of concrete blocks or timber sleepers
@@Crock9421 if you can mate blocks all the way cheaper but takes longer but last for ever
I have to say you are good at building a pond I cannot wait to see it finished are you going to have it fiberglass and a pond liner .
Got to be fibre glass I think as it’s not much different in price if done yourself might need a bit of help with doing it myself but it’s only knowing with weathered conditions and temperatures to how much mix I need to use but I got good mates in the trade

I got one of the 100lt water buts for a static bed. I also got a 300lt butt for a moving bed. I'm going to start building it in the next few days.

I’m just finishing off a 3 barrel filter (water butt) I got the square ones 100lt ones James, go to wickes if you got one near you mate only £28.00 each and not £32.00 😮

Yea but it’s not going to matter it will take years to rot out and there is still so much block work on the slab it will be fine I did the same with the main pond had no problems there
