47:10 Seth doesn't always get credit when he does things well. Here I was like "he's gonna play Misty and play Llanowar Tribe", I thought it was the only line. But then he played Burning Tree, Nykthos, and used the Burning Tree mana to pay for Nykthos to generate mana to play Tribe.
It's a small thing, but I thought that was a nice line. Well done

Iirc Seth asked if there would be any interest in doing just that on stream a while back which was met with a pretty resounding "yes" so it could definitely be a possibility in the future. I'm sure there could be some solid rebuilds at this point. Only issue is the time investment of revisiting versus looking at the new stuff, of which there is still plenty. Regardless, I'm with you, that would be sweet to see.

I actually looked it up to make sure I wasn't spreading misinformation, and it turns out that the whole phrase has been misinterpreted. I was busy explaining that the "just" there is the same as in "justice", meaning that the desserts you get are a deserved punishment. But the word was originally an archaic use of "deserts", which means something that is deserved. So it does actually mean an earned punishment, just not in the way I thought!

I cannot possibly like this deck and video enough. You really outdid yourself Seth. I only wish there were more matches to watch. Is there an outtakes video? :)

Outtake videos are a cool idea. Maybe in the future!

punt at 15:15: should have paid the 2/3 green mana to nykthos so he could cast magus as well before end of turn

when you copy the ability of magus, you can target the nyktos twice and use it between each abilities resolutions.

This deck just got a lot better in 2022 since we got cabal coffers in modern horizons 2

To think there was a real, actual "Win the game" card in Modern Horizons, and it never got a video. I'm surprised by the votes. Siege of Mirrodin or whatever it is should've gotten a video.
