Tangerine Dream y Brian May, una fusión estelar
- Hudba
As I grow older and older, some of my musical taste has changed but the Giant Groups such as TD or King Crimson will always be on the top of my listening list and I'm on 76 years old!
R I P edgar you left us with some very good sounds and music. there will never be another edgar froese
Super ! In 1977 I've never heard about TD so I live in Poland , 220 miles out from Berlin when TD started. They visited my country 3 times . I saw them 1st time in 1983 (look CD "Poland". But today LIVE in Berlin !!! greetings from Wroclaw (Poland) !
By 1977, I had four or five TD Lps and had seen them live... And I live in California...
Wow the way Edgar looks at Brian May and plays looking ultra cool is ultra cool itself!
The Great Edgar R.I.P.
Such beautiful sounding music. Thanks for this beautiful video. The RS is doing her thing. She always sounds magical. ❤❤
As a decades- long TD fan I think it's cool to see them jamming with a rock icon from another group.
"Two Godfathers ~ Tangerine Queen"
It is a nice treat to hear Brian May with Tangerine Dream!
Brian was an incredible fit with TD.
Brilliant, two masters at the top of their game.

Wow thanks so much for posting this. I was aware that Froese and May had collaborated. I just never seen the performance. Until now. Thanks. Two Iconic geniuses at work.
Fantástico, eu estive em Tenerife em Junho 2011. RIP EDGAR! TANGERINE DREAM sempre!!!
Very good song/video maestro music ambient(style old school music electronic).Fan.
I am sure I'm the thousand + view. The jam between this two rock icons is unearthly. Look at Froese scanning with his dark shades, creepy very chilling but superb musicianship trying to connect and adapt with May's guitar explorations. May went beyond his cerebral capabilties to expand with Froese. This trip is way too far out. They are like two space rockers trying to communicate with their Martian audience. Heavy man!
Fuck ya, brother. You already know!
this is total space rock man! Brian May is the sound of immortal Queen and Tangerine Dream the electronic progressive pioneers!!!!!!!!! what a contribution!!!!!!!
Una maravilla...
Sounds amazing through my headphones
Beautiful...
Thanks for this experience... From Italy a old and hard fan o TD....
I was thereeeeeee OMG that sensationnn whe he came up on stage wasss indescriptible to me.... my dream come trueeee
Love the epic handshake fail at 12:57 - you can shake Brian's hand AFTER he finishes his solo, AFTER, not before!
😂
AMAZING! Thanks for posting the video...
Superb. This music is not for chart boys
haha, "chart boys", never heard that, might have to use that one
Increible... sigue estando en forma. Muchas gracias por el video.
That, sir, is funny as shit! Saw them decades ago in Phllly. Fantastic concert, TD said nothing to the audience until the end, when Edgar said, "Philadelphia" and walked off the stage with Christoph and Peter in tow. Wicked cool.
Preciosos sonidos para los oidos
Thanks for sharing!
thanks !
Awesome!
Actually, I think Brian May fared pretty well here. For a guy to be taken out of a fishbowl of structure, & tossed into an ocean of improv...not too bad!! Quite enjoyable!! Second piece is cool too...more structured. Nice!! Thanks for this!!
I just saw TD last week and all you Linda Spa haters are insane. They are as good as they ever were and she is a great person to boot. In fact, the entire band are great people. had dinner with them after the show (not planned; there was only one place open that late).
I was there - it was superb!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
now Edgar is making music with Freddie........................
We hope so, we do not know it, just a wish!
And Keith Emerson, and Jimi Hendrix, and....what a band that they have up there. Could you image the discussion Edgar and Keith are having with Robert Moog about his modular synthesizer?
What did you expect....caravanserai part two??
Edgar Froese said it all: "Ladies and gentleman... Brian May father of 10,000 guitarists around the world". (I think with tongue in cheek).
*wow* amazing!!!

Wow!❤
and today in Berlin !!!
nice performance
wow
Edgar is now playing with Bowie Freddy and Prince in the heaven stage.
standin on the shoulders of giants ✌️🍀🌞
Superb! I only wish i could have attended this concert. BM & TD what could be better?
It´s good to see Brian with Tangerine Dream instead of Lady Ga Ga or sth.... I wish I could have seen it!!
Goood
Tangerine queen
nice
Wish that this would be a full show and not only 17 min +
I agree Mr. Ruttrock on Linda Spa.
Hammer die Gitarre
I agree. But still some newer songs without saxophone sound great, and I like that TD's sound is much different compared to older albums
Queen and TD?! Sick!!
Good the great, 가고 싶다~
Oh..it get's somewhat
better after the improvised 1st section.

@Bill Griffin Spot on Bill, it's easy for the criticisms but when someone has been dedicated to their art for so long, they can only be respected for it - how was dinner?
Quoi dire de plus........................
Correct Mars Polaris is an example.
In fact, this is more just Brian May with the new TD
edgar should have played guitar duel with him now that would have been something
This could be, post Syd, the early Floyd's musical improvisations. Good to see anyway.
All that was bad about TD encapsulated in one video. Quite an achievement.
May had asked jean michel jarre to perform with him at this gig, but I guess jarre was busy.

🛌💤💤💤💤💤 (Though interesting to see Arturia' Moog Modular V and NI Massive VST computer plugins on the big screens)
Sincerely i think there's no relation beetween music from the stars and the power chords from heavy, however the first cut is interesting, it remindes me those psy-60`s.
Oh, Edgar nowadays looks like Karl Lagerfeld playing Keyboards ;-)
A few big spliffs for the artists would improve things greatly....
Can't help feeling that BM wished he never agreed to this project. Can't hear any wondrous meeting of musical minds I'm afraid.
it's cool, it's good I like it
???????????? wat is datttt
True the last listenable TD album was Melrose of 1990. When Linda Spa entered that was the swan song.
This should have worked, but sadly it didnt. unlike David Gilmour and the Orb.
This is like a head banging concert and I don't care too much for it.
Brians a very practice reliant guitarist. He rarely improvises, and when he has to, he can get in a bit of pickle at times.
Seeing them is nice but hearing them.. it's not much of a performance.
With all respect: this music could be easily played in a shopping center without causing too much stir....it is just tedious and very commercial when it comes to the drum and keyboard parts. I think the musicians might have had fun playing - but that's about it.
Imagine Mysterious Semblance At The Strand Of Nightmares playing in a shopping centre. People would run out. THAT is why I used to love TD. This is very boring. I now know why Brian May never improvises. The key is in the root of the word.
What ? This is not Tangerine Dream. Its chaos. Just compare it with Stratosphere or Ricochet. Since Peter Bauman and Chris Franke left TD the Musik is going boring and flat. Edgar was a with no doubt a genious. But this other people, specially this chick with dreadlocks on the congas, have no TD spirit at all.
As long as it's Edgar Froese and his guests, that's ok. Because this is definitely not TD! And the banging is boring..couldn't watch for more than a couple of minutes.
Too bad, so sad for you. If every part were as crazy over-the-top as you seem to need, next to nobody would pay any attention. Most of us expect at least an underpinning of rhythm and melody, else it isn't really music, is it? If this is too bland for your rarefied taste, why bother commenting?
boooo
Its not good.
That's what happens when you don't rehearse enough and you play with a long delay : tempo is fucked.
Plus : the two guitars on Lost horizon are not in tune. That's garbage. Brian May used to be so professional and amazing, now he's worse than a bad Queen coverband.
Taste is discussable - sure. i wouldn't call my expectations "over the top" but i think it is easy to detect that the guitarists had certainly fun playing their parts - the rest is just "over-arranged" which makes it indeed "bland". "Yanni" comes to my mind - same level.....and that is not meant as a compliment.
so schlecht
Never liked Tangerine D.(or Edgar) with his rock pretensions..
