Oh my!!! your daughter is so gorgeous!! My goodness, she’s a stunner!
And, those collards greens look heavenly! I was amazed at your putting a whole little fish in the hole before planting the collards. I’ve heard of putting down fish emulsion, but never a whole fish. I’m sure that’s part of the reason they are so big and beautiful.
I so enjoy your videos from start to finish. You have given me wonderful information about container planting, which is what I do. I’m so excited to try some of your techniques! Blessings to you and Nancy always! ♥️❣️♥️🙏🏼♥️❣️

This is one of my favorite videos! You remind me of my daddy. He was my hero. Daddy was a tough, hard working, Godly man. He treated me and Mama with tender love and care. At the same time, he protected us like a roaring lion. I realize my statement sounds a bit dramatic; however, that's how I felt as a child. I'm about your age now. It's so nice to see that GOOD men still exist! God bless you and your family!!

My mama made cornbread dumplings in her greens sometimes when I was growing up. I loved them and thought when she did that it was a special treat for us. I found out many years later as an adult that it was because it was when she didn’t have enough supplies to make a whole pan of cornbread for the family. There was seven kids. That actually made them more special to me because I never realized or thought of us as poor. 👩‍🌾💛☀️

First time gardener and I just start my seeds last week with my daughter and we are so amazed at their growth thus far. We could literally live off of a collard greens and cornbread diet if it came to it so growing them ourselves is only right 😂☺️. Thank you for sharing!! Amazing video. Glory to the Most High❣️

Suggestion to simplify the cook / prep process. Once you take the stems out, make stacks instead of doing one at a time, then roll and cut them. You can get way more done at one time. (So cute you turned red from your daughters compliment! Love it.)

Dear Hollis and Nancy I have anemia and taking iron tablets by the time it goes through my digestive system I have lost a large portion of the total medication. Therefore I have been eating greens mustard, collards and turnip greens for many years this helps my iron. Since living in the State of Washington finding turnip greens is hard and sometimes I cant find mustard greens I just got used to eating collards by themselves and it works great for me. Over the years the collard greens became more expensive for a bunch and then the producers started putting very little greens to make a bunch. I started buying collard greens by the case at the grocery store and they too have cut down the bunches so small at a higher price by the time I picked them washed them it only gave us a small amount. My husband planted collard green in our yard however those white flies and other bugs eat large holes until we lost our greens. Secondly, the moles are digging under our garden they were killing the roots and we lost all of our greens. I would like to know if Hollis and Nancy would sell us a couple cases of collard greens so I could at least put some in the freezer. We are born again Christians we love the Lord with our whole being. We just cant find anywhere we can buy collard greens that are full the stores sell small bunches at a higher price per bunch. If anyone out there can direct me where to buy good bunches of collard greens at a reasonable price please let me know thank you and may the Lord bless you. Cody
