We got the Red Sea MAX Nano Peninsula as our first reef tank back in February, started it with live rock & sand, and it was fully cycled in just 2 weeks. It’s now full of beautiful LPS corals not even 4 months after starting it, & it’s very easy to maintain with weekly water testing & water changes, and it looks beautiful. Highly recommend!
The only “negative” about it is that we now want another bigger tank!
Is this quiet enough to be in a living room?
@@TheN00Pe Yes it absolutely is. It’s currently in my son’s bedroom and makes very little noise at all. You wouldn’t even hear anything noticeable in a living room.

Wonder is the silicone seams are more reliable? I almost purchased a Red Sea , but am not so sure now. This tank would be a good it, but would prefer more gallons

So is the back clear where the rear sump is?? So you can see all the chambers?
What about ehe sides for the back chambers? Are they clear or black?

Was thinking about getting a Max Nano Peninsula but with all the recent issues with the bigger Red Sea tanks Think I will go else where , unless Red Sea say whether they have sorted said issues. Which is a shame as it looks a cracking package.

Would a radios light perform better than this light
last i bought one of those pretty tanks for freshwater, it was expensive and the filter was complete crap and under powered, but all the other gadgets do make it tempting.
How is that a peninsula? It’s just a cube. The backs of peninsula tanks are not blackened out. My understanding of a peninsula tank is the back chamber is located on the side so you can view straight through. The return nozzle is low enough where you will need a protein skimmer for sure cause it’s too low to agitate surface.
all ready to go...with no lid. If Innovative Marine can do it, then Red Sea can. This is an all-in-one where everything is supposed to go in the back compartment, so I don't understand why they didn't manufacture a cover for this. I would buy an IM for that reason alone.

The protein skimmer is bogus. It’s a gimmick on that system.. however it’s definitely needed cause the return nozzle is so low it’s never going to agitate the surface & create oxygen. Better off with IM or Water-box. Buy your own light & everything else under the sun. I would rather turn that back chamber into a refugium vs an unnecessary protein skimmer location.
