I've been playing artwoods for 8 years now. I have earned both martins and taylors. I always end up selling them and keeping my artwoods. I customize them and give them the best sound I can and what comes out is better than i can get out of a martin or taylor without dropping over $2000 on one. These are amazing guitars and in my opinion the most underated acoustic guitars on the market.
I have the parlour pn15. . It was £105 . . And has the best lowest action on acoustic ive ever owned an sounds great with 11 copper wounds. .
This guitar in vid might be my next. . U dont need HUGE $ guitars anymore. .

@@hungariansubzero Yeah sure. So, it's mostly going to depend on your style. The aw65 has a softer sound with more clarity on the high end, due to the cedar top. That makes it great for fingerstyle playing or light pick strokes. The weakness of the aw65 will come with more aggressive playing, as the sound will become more muddied. The aw70 would be your go to for anyone who plays with a harder attack. In my opinion I enjoy the more mellow sound of the aw65, but if you want something more in your face then i'd go with the aw70. Hope that helps to answer your question. Overall i think either one will impress you.
@@coreytravisbean What's your opinion on the AW70-NT? It's different than the one shown in this video, but some guy said the neck is extremely thick. Any experience with that one?
@@John-bw2vr yes, the neck is thick but after playing one with a neck that thick I haven’t been able to go back to thin necks. I feel as though I have more control with the added grip from my hand. That being said, I am 6’1” with bigger hands. My advice on neck size and comfort is this ... whatever you play most is what will become comfortable to you. If you get it and it feels big at first after a few weeks it will feel normal and you will grow to enjoy guitars of that type. Most places have a return policy, so get one and try it out for a couple of weeks.

You play beautifully. I am a beginner. I am probably buying the Ibanez AC240 from a local store , but the guitar you are playing in the video is outstanding! I'm sure the sound has to do a lot with your talent as well. Thank you for making a video with quality microphones so we can hear the guitar's real 'voice'.
AC240 is a nice guitar. smaller body and has a wider neck. The guitar in the video is a dreadnought and it will have a deeper voice.
