2021 BMW X5M Competition Full Review. M5 with more space! Car Reels | Episode 5

The BMW X5M Competition combines the M5 goodies with the X5 practicality and drawbacks. A very powerful and responsive engine matted to a great transmission is a recipe for great fun. Add to that a good chassis with BMW's obsessive pursuit of balance and you get an incredible handling SUV. The firm but well mannered ride gives confidence without being uncomfortable. The interior of the X5M isn't very modern but it is very premium and it has great material consistency. By that we mean that the leather on the arm rest is the same as the door and the dash, that gives a great sense that every part of the vehicle was shown care and attention. Where the X5M comes short is on space. Poor leg room in the rear of the cabin is odd because this would be aimed at buyers that want an M5 with more space and practicality. However it is not so bad that it would be a deterrent but it is something worth noting.
The stand out feature of the X5M Competition is the fact that it handles like a dream! Very few SUVs would come close to this on that aspect. Maybe the Lamborghini Urus comes to mind but that is on a different price bracket.

Hard to say they're all so different. Looks wise I do like the RSQ8, the drive of the X5M won me over almost immediately and the AMG is just a savage SUV, by far the best sounding out of the 3.

I'm going to go with no. Can't handle like a car and go off-road. G waggon eg. handles poorly but can definitely go off-road

@@hornz5 nothing to be afraid of it handles much much better then one would think. For some people the higher up feeling is a must. Add extra space and you have yourself exactly what SUV stands for. In recent times manufacturers label "SUV" on boring high up cars. The X5M puts the S in SUV
