Mercedes Benz w124 300E Automatic transmission replacement

After buying my 300E i knew the transmission would fail at some point so i began looking online on how to do it but there was not a whole lot of information online so i figured i might document mine. Removing the transmission in my 300E was a bit of work but it is well doable without a lift and just on the floor.
‼️One thing i forgot to mention in the video is the oil tube that has to be disconnected, WOOPS! ‼️
This is the filling funnel with the big red cap on top, disconnect that when working inside the engine bay.

Be careful tightening pan bolts..somebody cranked on mine a little to hard sent a nice crack halfway up the transmission case!! Leaks like a siv. What a shame total cream puff 300CE Lorinser with 198k…Atleast I got a crazy deal on it
