As always, awesome footage Mr. Edds. You’ve filmed a many major storms before, this one has to be up there. No Dorian , of course, but devastating nonetheless. Be safe in your journeys Sir.
Oh my g lord please help the people in florida .need to pray always what ever happened to ur country don't lost ur faith in God.all of that is trials all over in word.praying all people in florida safe.God bless
I went to Punta Gorda about 3am that morning but the parking garage was blocked so I went back to Fort Myers. I lost my ride in PG during Charley. Check out that one if you haven't seen it. Thanks for subscribing WSC.
But the wind damage in Ian was much worse in Punta Gorda than Ft. Myers. The worst winds in Ian was Sanibel Island, Pine Island northward and Charlotte County. The eywall was drier and weaker when it got to Ft. Myers. We had low cat4 winds in Port Charlotte. Here in Punta Gorda they were likely around 125, strong cat3. The stronger eyewall winds would have been better video. Boca Grande would been a good place to be for the strongest winds and no surge.@@JimEdds
and Isidore 2002, Isabel in 2003, Irene in 1999, 2011. I storms are bad news. When that TD off Africa took Hermine, I knew we were in trouble with an I storm Ian.
God that wind speed is unreal.
Awesome video capture haven’t seen you post in a while Jim it’s good to see you with a new video.

Helo Jim, this huricane and that storm surge is so horrible. It reminds me of thyphoon Haiyan. Be in extra care in filming.

Oh! my god
Ian, Irma, Ida, Ike, Irene, Ivan...what's up with the 'I' named storms??
and Isidore 2002, Isabel in 2003, Irene in 1999, 2011. I storms are bad news. When that TD off Africa took Hermine, I knew we were in trouble with an I storm Ian.
And now Idalia is headed this way
This was no Andrew or Frederick, I lived through both.
Frederick was my first real hurricane wind to experience in Sept 1979 Pensacola. Mobile had it much worse than we did though.
