Lady is a legend will never be forgotten
She’s a superstar - she looks like her mom. I remember when she won - I’m from the USA and it didn’t matter- I was so happy for her.

Truly gifted artist on the ice. I was thrilled when she won the Olympics; I felt her performance deserved it.
The absolute best of all time! I have always loved Oksana and think she is and always will be the greatest of all time!
When I feel depressed, I watch her skating. Mastering swan movements. She transformed into one.
She lost her mom around the age of 13. You can tell it still pains her and she remembers her with great fondness. Love Oksana!
The thought- Whatever happened to Oksana Baiul? just popped into my head. Really glad to see her in a healthy happy place with her life and family.
That sigh at the end and the look in her eyes when she talked about her Mom. I wanted to give her a hug.
There has been many beautiful and talented Figure Skaters,
But Oksana, during her prime, was absolutely a very beautiful and mesmerizing Figure Skater. She was just different than all the other Figure Skaters, her movements is just beautiful on the ice. Her 1994 Olympics program is one of the best of all the Olympics figure skating programs, just so mesmerizing. Oksana, yeah she had some personal problems to deal with, But I think Oksana Baiul is one of the best Figure Skaters of all times and definitely one of my favorite Figure Skaters of all times.

My daughter and I still remember her performance at Lillehammer. She looked like a beautiful ballerina. Congratulations on your daughter Sophia.

I love Oksana, and I love her beautiful skating . I'll always remember her skating the most beautiful program I have ever seen, in the black swan ballerina dress at the Olympics . She is so graceful and expressive, a true artist.

She speaks so poetically! She should look into writing literature, like poetry. For example, I wasn't sure at first why she brought up the "bright lights" at the Olympics. However, when she tied it up w/ the same bright lights she saw in the operating room -- basically saying it was an omen that her life was about to change -- it gave me goosebumps!
She looks so healthy and happy! I know she's had a hard life, so I'm glad that she seems to be doing well. 😊

That is such wonderful advice for everything else in life. Dont try to compete with anyone else, just try to better yourself. I found it got me so much further in life. Plus it made me a lot less stressed.

I love Oksana Baiul so much. I also love the way she skates. My favorite number by her was the arabian style skate with the lamp and the purple outfit. That was spectacular. I am sorry about Ukraine . I am praying for my brothers and sister in Ukraine. we are alll the same. I love you guys.

I remember Oksana skating after Sergei Grinkov passed away and how she had the hardest time skating. I saw her skate at the Celebration of Life and I cried watching her knowing she had lost another person close to her in her life. It’s great to see her happy. Her daughter is beautiful.
I had no idea that even happened. Or I can’t remember - very possible. How sad.

I had the biggest crush on Oksana, I studied her language to be able to say I loved her, lol........but I forgot English when she signed her autograph. I wish her the best always.
She had such an incredible control and elegance! I don't think that today's 'quad-jumping wonders' can hold a candle to her.

Oksana was sheer magic on the ice. I still have my 1994 vcr tape that includes her lovely and glorious gold medal-winning performance. I loved her pink and raspberry costume she wore in the long program (free skate).

To Oksana, Thank you for performing with such grace and discipline for us, and being a bright shiny light for me when you won the olympics. I was 13 years old, and so annoyed with the politics, and then you just blew it all away into stardust. Can't thank you enough. God bless you always.
I was 24 and remember thinking she blew them out if the water and seemed to come out of nowhere. She was better off not understanding the drama going on.
Oksana so nice to see you🥰 I will never forget the day you won the gold metal. I was going to school in Seattle and watching with a few classmates in 1994. Then in 1996 I moved and bought a house. You are truly blessed 🙌 💛

She has had a rough life. Losing her parents so young, focusing in an Olympic career and also struggled with alcoholism. That can take its toll on a body.
@@southtxgal9077 The drinking lasted about 2 years. Oksana beat alcohol not sure her addiction was extreme. Nope Crohn's disease is a lot harder. She's managing that well. Good on her she's in a peaceful place she had to fight for it. Sophia is a cutie & seems outgoing.
She looked older at the Olympics too probably because she's always had a hard life. However, her eyes are youthful and glowing. Eyes are always a good indicator of age. Beauty Products keep you skin from sagging, but they only do so much to stop the skin from thinning and drying. You can tell her skin is thick and youthful.
She looks very classy & beautiful.

Omg… I only got it was her when the video ended… During the video I thought it was some first speaker before Oksana comes.
I find it hard to believe that skating Legend Katarina Witt never got married , I had a Hugh Crush on Her & very much wanted to marry Her.
She didn’t? I lost track of everyone - now I can go down a rabbit hole and read everything about them all.
Good grief, must every interviewer always ask the same questions? Don't they have anything other than her Olympic experience to ask her? How about, is she teaching her daughter Sophia to speak Russian? Why did Oksana choose to live in the US instead of Ukraine or elsewhere, was it because there were more financial opportunities here?
