put a taller gear on motor or get a sprocket with 4 less teeth, i went on ebay and bought a 40mm honda sl-125 mine does 40mph

@@quinnobo7146 yeah, you could put a bigger carb on it, or just pull the clutch cover off find the gear that the clain goes on to the motor, count the teeth on it and then just put a new gear on it with 2-4 more teeth and put that on, if you cant find one, just put a smaller tooth grear on the rear wheel. for the motor, i'd look up same displacement briggs and straton go cart motors with a taller gear on the motor. i have a coleman fat tire minibike from 1980 it does 25mph, you dont need to go faster than that, they were made to ride trails. play with the gears, you can even take the gear off the motor, go to like a hardware store, just tell the guy if he has a taller gear that will fit this size shaft, tell him your building a go cart. dont tell him you have a coleman otherwise he'll want all this info and charge you double. that filter box, leave it off and just leave the filter on it, the filter box restricts air flow, try it without it. and get some 104 octang boost by STP and put all of it in a full tank of gas, it'll be like race gas in that minibike

another thing is, you know on your tires it says max tire pressure? like 40lbs or whatever it says, rule of thumb is that doesnt mean put say 40lbs of pressure in the tire cause when you sit on it that max pressure will go up cause of your bodyweight pushing the tire down creating more pressure, when i raced motorcross in the 70's, my dad had me sit on the bike then put air in the tire till it said 40lbs, when i got off there was 30lbs in tire, that makes a difference too

Everyone does predator motors and they can go up to 50 if built

Remove the silver spring on the carb

You should have flat out broken it off because bending it forward still restricts it because it blocks more throttle if you can just flat out break the tab off then it would get up to 25 to 26
