- In this video I’m giving you a detailed look at the NEW SKT CUSTOMS Lower Grille Kit for 19-24 Ram 1500s! This kit allows you to mount five 3” LED Pods into the lower grille of your truck with a direct replacement OEM style grille with 5 holes already machined into it, and heavy duty powder coated steel brackets and hardware!
This was a straight forward install and should be easy for the typical DIY’er to do in their garage or driveway!
Surprisingly the factory clips on the lower edge of the grille can be one of the most annoying things to deal with - so let me say this from experience - if you break a couple it’s no issue haha, everything will still be perfectly tight with a couple clips missing.

I wasn’t really planning on it, but it’s something I can try to do! At the very least I can explain it in detail. I don’t feel like re-wiring everything to show it though haha
@5thGen_Corey I got my work cut out for me, previous owner had a RC light bar. So I need to rip that off and unwire it before I can attempt installing the kit.

What about the wiring?
Great video and awesome truck. How are those pods wired up? You running a single switch or a gang switch box? Also, how many harnesses are you running for the 5 pods?
Thank you! I have a switch panel just because I currently have 14 Baja designs lights on the truck and 26 rock lights haha, but it’s not necessary to run one if you don’t want to. I highly recommend them though if you ever plan on having more than one switch on your truck! I use 1 switch for the wide cornering or driving combo pods and then 1 switch for the spot lenses in the grille. The best way to wire them up is to run 2 on each harness that comes supplied with Baja designs pairs, and then for that 5th light just run an additional positive and negative wire from the light and tie it into the other 2 lights at the switch panel. You can buy an additional harness for that but honestly to save money all you need is some 16 gauge wire. The lights will come with extra connectors for you to crimp onto your own wires so they plug right in!
